Good to see young and informed people creating quality audiophile related content in Desh. Keep up the good work. I am myself looking to buy a Vinyl player - but thinking about pulling out all those records from storage for several decades first, to see if they are any good any more and can be salvaged
Fantastic video and I would really recommend this video and also the website. As a lot of people in India are getting into turntable many are unaware including me; but now I can rest and say that I've found the right place. Cant wait to visit the store...😃
As a beginner and music enthusiast, I’ve been exploring numerous videos for a long time to better understand vinyl and turntables. Your video finally cleared all my doubts-it’s clear, concise, and straight to the point. Please keep making more videos on this topic. Thank you for sharing such valuable information!
I was worried on how to build a decent recorder player setup as a beginner. You cleared all the doubts, and told what a beginner should basically know about, while doing a TT setup. And also what issues one may face. Too good. Perfect! Thanks to The Revolver Club and Jude!
Oh so nice Jude to hear from u. My childhood memories of listening to hi fi music in Philips record player still reverberates in my mind after 40 years. Still the present music systems can't beat it I think.
Really good. Very informative. Now I request you make a video about hooking a graphic equalizer to a TT via the amplifier. Waiting for a long time for this.
Very nice information. I have one TT OL 640 ,I have changed the faulty headshell as it was humming .Now the problem arisen is the cartridge is vibrstingbon certain tracks of LP and changes tracks. Please guide in this issue to sort out the vibrating cartridge, stylus .I have corrected stylus weight, anti skate also I tried very much but tge problem persists .
Hi Jude, I happened to come across a whole bunch of vinyl records and turntable courtesy, my Dad who passed away . Would it be possible to have a talk with you on what to do with the set and records. Thanks
I have a huge collection of LP,EP and 78mm records and all my old turn tables frkm Bush,HMV,and Vediocon are non functional due to their old models. Will your recommended model be useful for me? I would like ti order one
Hi this was quite informative, Thanks. I had a few questions.... Does it make sense to buy a refurbished/used turntable + amplifier+speaker set? (prices seem similar with a superior products - albeit used and older) and hence are Direct drive better than Belt drives ones? And thirdly pins in the newer turntables (entry level at least) are ceramic - sapphire or like while older ones are probably Diamonds in some case. This is what was told to me so I am try to explore and understand to make a correct choice. Pls guide.
Unfortunately nothing really in the affordable range. A pioneer PLX500 will do the job. you will need to purchase a 78rpm cartridge and have it mounted when you need to listen to shellac.
The Projects are generally always good value for money. Avoid the SB models because if something goes wrong with the speed box the entire unit becomes unusable.

Record Killers such as Rocbloc and Sound Wagon should be introduced in India and the Largest Record should be launched from time to time
