I know!! I saw this one. Just knew Adriana was going to lose today, good thing she won again though. Susan and Kaitlin gave Adriana a run for her money. She could NOT miss Final Jeopardy! I was glad Adriana didn’t and Kaitlin in the right missed FJ.
Whew!!! Those challengers were REALLY REALLY SMART!!!!!!!

Had Adriana made the first Daily Double a true Daily Double, she would've been in the lead by $400, which would've made Kaitlin's wager a lot more interesting!
As for Ken describing Susan's wager as a "smart bet", that's debatable.
Only rarely is wagering everything from third a smart bet (see game 4 of the 2024 Tournament of Champions). In case this was a triple stumper, a more strategic bet would be $5,800. Had Kaitlin bet to cover Adriana and Adriana bet to cover Susan, which she technically did, they would've fallen to $799 and $4,399, respectively. And Susan would've fallen to $4,400.

Unfortunately, the phrase "affirmative action" is not an alliteration by any stretch of the imagination. By definition, an alliteration is the repetition of the initial sound (not necessarily initial letter), usually a consonant sound (as in "Peter Piper) in two or more words of a phrase. Even if you use the loose definition to include initial vowel sound, "affirmative action" still does not work since the initial "a" in " affirmative" does not have the same sound as the "a" in "action".
