from Saskatchewan Canada here, and our season has a break from the first of November to the 14th and then rifle season starts the 15th it seems like the rut starts around the November 7th give or take a few days, so I'll use your information and advise and try to play my cards right, and hope for the best with the bow! Thanks for sharing
10 point for me this morning in koochiching County. Didn't expect much movement with the blustery wind, but he came sneaking through a doe zone at first light. Saw several small bucks in an ash swale funnel over the weekend
@@daveguttormson6315 thanks- I’d say it’s spotty. There are some larger camps with a lot of hunters here and there but then areas in between with no hunters.
Great advice .. like you said mock scrapes went dead and Bucks are snuggled tight to Does now. Was your Buck shot off a mock ? Had quite a bit of activity from different Bucks on mocks Oct 17th for some reason.
@@charlesleblanc6638 I had the same thing this year- oddly high amounts of bucks moving around Oct 17th. I almost made a video on it but ran out of time. I got my buck this year at our private property spot by the food plot. Not the same as a big wood public land kill but hey I’ll take it.
Interesting that you also had the same thing around the 17th of October. Have you seen this before ? Great Buck no matter where you shot it.@@northernforestwhitetail

@@seanmoran4956 good work! We aren’t far from you up there. I had two different bucks hit my mock scrape today in this wind. Congrats on the buck
I hunt in koochching also. Got a nice big 8 opening afternoon chasing a doe. Stopped him 20 yards away with a quick bleh and he was toast.
