John Deere 750A Drirect drilling Wheat into Grass!
We are direct drilling some wheat into some old hay grass! We are direct drilling as we don’t want to plough the land as we are moving to a min till system.

what was the yield ? and nitrogen fertilization ? it's looking great.

Well, unfortunately there was a huge number of slugs which we did not realise were there, they ate the seeds and therefore it didn’t really germinate to well and the crop failed. If it weren’t to be for the slugs, it would’ve been an amazing crop, as shown by a few patches in the field where there wasn’t any slugs and it all grew well.

It is growing at the moment, it was drilled first week of October just posted this week
