The Schuberth E1 I'm using is just a C3 Pro with a sun shield, so hopefully, my comments can work for you as well. I managed to pass the wires from the device to the speakers in between the helmet shell and the neck collar. And I did not break any wire so far. It works for my current 50R as well as for the 10C Evo back in time. And there are a lot of gaps between the inner styrofoam shell and the outer shell where you can hide tons of wires. I managed to hide the 1.5m cable from the famous SpeedLink microphone in there.
You and me both! I've been sitting on this footage for too long, desperately waiting for real life to get out of the bloody way so that i can get on with it!
How did it work in Norway? Could imagine the wire at the Neckrole to be annoying since the Schuberth Flipfronts tend to be really snug fit... atleast for my Eierkopf. 😀
No complaints from the happy owner! He didn’t notice it at all. I think I’m a little more sensitive and would have eventually poked a hole in the neck roll!!
This seems perfect for me when I eventually upgrade from a good but cheap Fos Sport one, much cheaper than usual (£119 deals at the moment in places that I will have to miss). I want the quality that I think the speakers will be with this, mine have very little bass, I will look forward to a review!
Early review is that it was very good. No problems with comms whatsoever and battery life very good. The only really big Limitation is that they ONLY work with other mesh based sena systems. So you can’t use it with Cardo or any other brand.
@@AndyManCam Thanks 👍 my main riding buds do have Sena systems, not currently connected to their helmets though lol I mostly listen to music though, occasional GPS, so I think this will be what I upgrade to hopefully sometime next year.
@@AndyManCam Hi Andy, according to John Milliband from Bennetts bike Social review, Sena and Interphone have made their mesh units cross compatible, so maybe the Sena is slightly more useful in that respect.
Hello Andy, Nice video. I was wondering about whether you can connect by bluetooth to your phone and a Satnav with this intercom at the same time, as I prefer to use a satnav over a phone for directions and would need them both connected at once? Also did you encounter any heavy rain on your Norway gig, if so how did they cope in the wet as this seems to be a problem with some Sena intercoms? Many thanks.
I’m pretty sure that’s no trouble at all. Just like the other models, Phone and satnav connect normally. There’s just no Bluetooth between intercoms. We encountered LOTS of heavy rain in Norway! No problems whatsoever with the SENAs. Which is more than i can say for my Beeline, which went properly on the Fritz until it dried out!
The cable from the unit will go between the neck roll and the lid without damaging the cable. Mine's been there for about 4 years for my Sena kit. It would have been easier to get the Sena kit which is designed for the Schuberth. Yes, I know, more expensive...
Thanks Donna. Yeah sure, the trouble is making that jump from part time to full time, when the earnings are essentially nothing! It's a dilemma, because you want to believe that by going full time, you'll make it into a job. But leaving real earning jobs behind to pursue it is very risky and nerve racking! Especially right now, when everything is getting crazy expensive! But if I could guarantee the earnings, I'd go full time in a heartbeat.
Haha! i think maybe there should be! There certainly were a few. I've been gathering the swears from videos for years, once I get enough there'll be a beep fest for everyone's enjoyment!
2 video's on 1 evening, what a treat!!
You deserve it! xx
Well colour our me spoilt! Two vids in one day. Thanks. Looking forward to the review.
You deserve it Pat! Review should hopefully be along soon!

Can't wait for this trip 👍🏽✅

Interesting how Senna and Cardo have the exact same voice on their units. Anyone would think they're all made in the same place 👀
I was just thinking the same
They definitely must be sharing something! If at least the same voice over talent! 😜

No worries! I'd hate for anyone to get caught out by that, because I didn't hammer it home enough in the footage!

That is very true! I’d forgotten about that. So that should theoretically work no problem. Sadly i didn’t have an interphone to test it.
Nice video. Never had a Sena, always Cardo. Might be tempted next change
When the Edge arrives, I’ll have had 2 of each. Pros and cons for both!
@@AndyManCam ah now , stop making us jealous 😂😂😂
Haha! Nobody is jealous of the amount of times I’ve had to install intercoms! 😂
@@AndyManCam ah I would give a few intercoms a test. My 2 buddies and I really push our Cardos to the limit.
I tend to manage to break things often too. 🫣

Good to know, cheers! Yeah the Schuberth version is a fair bit more pricey!
awesome video ! ! ! ! !
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@AndyManCam thank you bro
💪🏻🙌🏻👍🏻
Your German is getting very good , have you thought of going full time on UA-cam etc like other’s 😊

I hate the faffery involved in fitting new comms. To do it backwards for the camera is an added pain so congrats on both vids 👍
I'd do anything for you guys! 🥰
In order to charge it, shall you do it on helmet, or unit itself can be detached and charged?
You can charge it off the helmet.
Do you know if the sena 10c pro can be installed on this helmet. Ive just bought this helmet a d was given rhe sena 10c as a present. Nice vid btw.
I would assume so. I don't think the fitting is all that different. I know that he now has a Cardo Nero which I think also fits in a similar way.
can you connect the sena spider to TWO phones ?
I think so, yes. And a GPS.
Is it waterproof?
My head does not fit Schuberth helmets lol....
We can’t all be the same! Goes for the shape of our melons too!
NO ANDY...no SENA! bad Andy!!! 😆
Haha! That's a strong response! Fear not, Cardo have sent Santa over early and I'll be swapping for the Edge very soon!
Yeah, is good my German accent 🤪
It's all in the delivery! ;D
👍🇨🇦🤪

I want to know if there is an uncensored version with all the swear words 🤬 lol

Das mit dem äußeren Kabel vor den Kragen meinst du doch nicht im Ernst, oder? Das geht doch anders!!
