i have always been a huge fan of FEAR FACTORY & this is 2019 their music will never ever die & will always live on 4-eternity. FEAR FACTORY always fucking RULES. oh hell yeah.
I remember being initially disappointed with the massive nu metal influences and the somewhat tired sound but over time it has grown on me and I have appreciated it's songwriting. Especially the ambient U2 influences on Invisible Wounds.
@@СевернаяЗвезда-в9м Go and listen to the first three albums: Soul Of A New Machine (1992), Demanufacture (1995) and Obsolete (1998). Then listen to this album. That should point it out. But if you want a specific answer, then stay with me here…. There are quite a few single note open riffs in on several songs such as on What Will Become and Linchpin and there is a a more emphasised groove type rhythm on many songs which is typical of nu metal. And most of all, where is the absolutely brutal and bludgeoning death metal-esque tone that crushes you like on the first three albums? There is next to no such heaviness like that on this album. It is still a nice album though, it is just a different flavour.
@@dankk2754 I respectfully disagree to an extent. I definitely think that they popularised extreme detuning on guitars before the age of seven string guitars which nu metal fully embraced. They started out with massive death metal influences, especially on Soul of a New Machine and developed their style more on Demanufacture and Obsolete. With Digimortal, I think they pretty much adapted their sound/style to match what was going on musically at the time.
Korn was also like the band that created nu metal. Bands like Faith No More has been one of the founders of alternative metal. Primus, White Zombie, and Helmet also came along before Korn released their first album.
this album was new when I started doing the fireworks for the KC Royals....we used to listen to it on the way up from manhattan Ks up to the stadium in KC....my buddy had just bought a new amp and subs.....sounded fuckin awesome in his 83 caprice classic(which is now mine)!!!
Man… I guess I’m old lol. I bought Demanufacture when it was brand spanking new based on an ad in a Guitar magazine. I had no idea what it was… A change of underwear later I cleaned myself up and learned all the drum parts… Love this new stuff too haha😅

When I was a kid, I always thought he was saying: "NO! You Will Nazi!" "NO! You Will Nazi!" I always thought Burton was referencing someone trying to take your "will" to survive away and saying "NO!" in defiance. I thought the Will Nazi was very Fear Factory-ish in how their lyrics and themes play on each other.
verissimo , nessuno suona come Raymond !! Davide Bergamo, in un genere come questo se non triggeri un po o non hai un produttore con le palle tipo Andy Sneap o Colin Richardson , le casse della batteria non si sentirebbero !!
I remember when I was little my dad played this song it blew my mind and started head banging 🤘🏻🤘🏻

the face of man
cut in, cut out
the face of...
time has given us no reason to live
look to the future and you will see nothing
what will become?
what will we be?
when we can see our own eternity
we've lost hope, lost fate
we've lost our way
lost time, lost grace
we search for...
man has taken time from all that you see
look in his eye, see the future hold nothing
what will become?
what will we be?
when we can see our own eternity
what will become?
what will we be?
when we can change our own eternity
man has taken time from all that you see
look in his eye and you still will not see
no! you will not see!

Sounds like Static-X for some reason.
Static-X sounds like Fear Factory ehehe
Sir Jovan digimortal and obselete are both nu metal albums
and Tony Campos is now the bassist of Fear Factory hehe
Hmmm sounds like Fear Factory for some reason
because it's very jumpy nu-metal like and came out during the time of Static X, similar recording and sound feel.
Lets be honest, the first riff at the beginning is proto-djent.
Uh, that riff is just a take from nu metal riffs from before. And 'Djent' was invented by Meshuggah years before this came out.
