Rip Cave Bases but the potential is insane
They probably won't be usable in caves. Whether they'll just be flat blocked, blocked under a certain altitude, or won't have enough room to open.

I love another actual use for a flare
I find it a bit odd, that they think a chute is made out of metal. If I were setting the requirements up for it, they would be as follows; 25 Frags, 2 tarp and 200 cloth and maybe 2 sewing kits. These would be more to what a chute is made up of.
But this is if I were doing it.
I can imagine the zergs now:
"WE ARE APPROACHING THE TARGET! GO GO GO!"
Came for the game, stayed for the jokes, puns and inside jokes. I havent played rust for over 3 years yet I keep coming back for more fun-sized videos. All the little details really show how much time and love is spent on just such a short update video. Keep up the great work! :)

It would be cool if they added motors that you hook up to your parachute so we do some paramotoring. That way you could have an alternative means of transportation via flying by parachute.
A solo form of flying as well.

Gotta learn how to walk before you learn how to run. This will eventually be in game tho i mean look at all the other concepts. It just takes time to figure out the loot table, if itll be craftable or only lootable or how much it costs and dont forget about how the mechanics will work without you getting FlyHacked XD

I love how they added parachutes like you don’t take 1 damage if you jump of a helicopter going 200 mph
Will be interesting how parachutes play out in the end, the slow descent makes you an easy target. Interesting that you were able to get it working from the zip line towers, didn't seem to work for me but maybe they changed something or I was doing it wrong.
I don't play Rust, but maybe the slow descent rate can be mitigated opening the chute only when you are near the terrain, no need to open it earlier becoming a very slow and easy to kill target. Having a bunch of players launching at high altitude from a scrap eli and open the parachute only at the last moment can allow a clan to deploy fighters fast and without much risk wherever they want, even inside a compound or on the top of the enemy base, giving them a tactical edge, while a single player launched from a mini that opens the chute immediately after the launch is an easy target. I see it as a new tool mainly useful for large groups and with a limited and very situational utility for solo or small groups.

They should at a resource you can infinitely stack in the TC and that counts as endgame score when a server is wiped, something to protect and care about until wipe

Actually it's a little bit tricky using it off of the sphere tank as you have to jump off and out enough to be able to open it.

That parachute spot needs to be able to equip a diving tank, too. Especially with the new Abyss Hazzy added to the game.
I wonder if the large weapon rack could potentially hide single door doorframes? Like a door that needs to be picket up to get past it.

Air ballon halo jumps will be the new meta. Launch site red card will be an easy take. Landing on someone’s roof without placing ladders will be the nasties door camp plays and will be the new meta for door camping. Should be an interesting time with this new mode of transportation.

Out of everything, I think i'm most excited for twitch drops.
Wondering if you’ll be able to keep an extra parachute in your inv and swap it in and deploy it if your original parachute is destroyed by a SAM site or AKs from cargo ship… I’m assuming there will be some cooldown to prevent rapidly deploying an additional one
