It's that bittersweet feeling again. You know the one. A journey that was so good you didn't want it to end, but you knew it eventually would. This DLC exceeded my expectations wildly, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Thank you, everyone, for allowing me the privilege of being your host on this adventure. And thank you, FromSoft, for delivering another masterpiece for us to enjoy. As our time together in the Land of Shadow comes to an end, new adventures can be seen on the horizon. I'll see you there, fellow Tarnished.

That frost lion warrior is the hardest non boss enemy in the game if you fight him down where he's at. That higher building seems like it was put there for people that didn't want to deal with him lol. Not only does his frost stomp do insane damage, he has this move where he just whirls up a cloud of frost and does this insane combo that pretty much perma stun locks you until you're dead. I'm glad he and the lightning version respawn, they are good practice!
I totally agree with your thoughts on the final boss. I too ended up using whatever cheese to beat him, not the build I wanted to use. I beat him 3 times. 1st time was Mimic Tear, Fingerprint shield, and Blasphemous Blade. 2nd time, Mimic, Fingerprint, and giant crusher with prayerful strike. 3rd time was similar to what you had here, fingerprint with a blood infused Godskin Sticher. (shield poke) I prefer Fingerprint so I can use an ash of war with a 1 handed weapon, I'm read to block at any time.
Thanks for the original Elden series, dude - I'm playing through with your vids and having a great time - much more entertaining and approachable for a non-souls player (and much less swearing and hysterical crying than the first time I played, lol.) Just did Greyoll and the Soreseal, stoked with the character boost, so thanks again.

Ah, man, it's over. Great playthrough, and I'm looking forward to the next! I agree about the final boss, especially considering your builds worked very well throughout the DLC. I did the same as an intelligence build - it just wasn't working and turtled up so I could brute force my way through before I got burned out. As for St Trina and Thollier, don't avoid her offer on your other character(s).
Trace, stats are a limitation. Kicking ass is a state of mind.
Thiollier is also able to be summoned with Ansbach if his quest was finished. I also turtle stabbed him behind the same shield you used and summoned another player offering help who was also a tank. It was a fun fight though.
This boss fight made me respec a few times but I was stubborn enough to go back to using that starlight ultra greatsword and just spammed the weapon art and used a charge attack any time I got an opening and I finally took him down right before he jumps up to do that giant meteor attack
I really need to get this expansion, but I've still not defeated Mohg 🙈 thanks yet again for your wonderful guides, your Demon's Souls Remake one has been very helpful ❤️

Congrats making it to the end of the dlc buddy, it was awesome to watch every step of it. Can't wait for more.
For the record, I insisted to myself that I would win with the build I was using and didn't turtle poke. Took over 100 tries with dual wielding twin blades. There was a part where I got frustrated, but overall it felt good to win. But I'm also a lunatic 🤷
I had the exact same experience with Radahn… albeit probably more tries over about one weekend to the next of trying a couple of hours a night… I honestly did hate the fight by the end. Probably didn’t help that I would go on UA-cam and see strategies and also see the no hit runs and thinking… fuckin how??? I did end up turtling with the same weapon. I didn’t like the idea at first… but I tried so damn hard with the build I’d created and continued modifying with DLC items. I even saw someone use a near exact copy of my build and just plow through. I think I’m good at Souls games, but yeah no… not everyone can be that good. That’s too much. But we did what we could do to the best of our ability. That for sure was the hardest fight in any video game I’ve played
Congrats brother! I just wanted to come here and let you know that I am in the same boat as you. I strongly feel that you should be able to beat every boss the traditional way. Radahn took me many tries and I almost made a turtle-stab build myself. However, I got that golden attempt where I was able to stagger him in the second phase and kill him. I used a build just like yours but with dual greatswords and sacred damage. I have to admit that I place hardships on myself like no summons and no spirit ashes always. Still, I enjoyed most fights until I got to him. It almost felt like a chore at the end there. Thanks for all these videos. It was our destiny!
totally agree with the Radahn assessment... there seems only 3 methods... tank with shield and spear of some sort (I used Gaius spear with blood tax ash), semi-tank with something like thorn spell or heavy weapon and some dodges, or all dodge in light roll mode after learning all boss moves, like so many YT vids... maybe they could have slowed down his repeated attacks every few times, or made the warp moves less frequent, and added a few more attacks that were dodge-able in any mode. Or a parry skill you learn just for this fight (special shield?)...
I also have ps4 which I swear runs slower and has frame rate issues in high intensity fights which causes rolls to perform slower...
Can't wait for the next game... hearing whispers about Phantom Blade Zero...
But if I don’t watch it, it technically doesn’t end… right? 😂

Congrats, it was cool seeing you play until the end, with st. tryna if you talked with her more times, she would tell in "dreams" for you to stop miquella, and that secret passage you pointed, at the end there was a cool twinblade

@victorpubejuice So that was more of a promise to a friend than a call for help. Ansbach makes the fight harder, but he deserved to be there for the victory because of what Miquella did go Mohg.

i tried to get good on this fight too, but i ended up with the same build in the end, giant shield poke spam, i didn't like radan in base game, unlike malenia or radagon where i enjoyed getting good this fight just sucked, i like to pretend he doesn't exist in the dlc, most disappointing final boss fight 4me in my gaming history
