After 7 years making films about sustainability and resilience, we’re working out how to build both of those into Happen Films itself.
We have a dream for HF: to shift to a funding model that reflects our values, to remove all ads from our UA-cam channel, and to operate within the values of the Gift Economy.
So, we want to share a concept with you (that we just made up 😄) called Community Supported Filmmaking that will help us achieve our filmmaking goals. And officially launch our campaign to be fully community supported by the end of 2024.
With your help, we can build a strong future for Happen Films, one that we can all be proud to be part of and that reflects how we want the world to be.

The analytics helps push your videos to a wider audience. It is admirable that you want to turn ads off, but UA-cam also makes money from ads, and they wont push your videos as much with ads turned off. Good luck for the future!

I love your videos and healthy & sustainable way of living, but I do not agree that we are in a "climate emergency". I used to believe the narrative, but recently found out it's a lie. I recommend you research a bit deeper into it because you are a great influencer.
