Today we take a look at the Anker SOLIX F3800 in the UK, one of the biggest and most powerful portable power stations we’ve ever reviewed! Not only can it charge your car, it can run every appliance you own, and can even power your home making the Anker SOLIX F3800 an absolute game change for home battery energy storage... but the UK version isn't quite the same as the rest of the world...

The facebook group was a great help in getting information on the F3800 and the differences between UK and US versions 👉 facebook.com/groups/ankersolixf3800/
Great review very detailed and entertaining. I am a full time caravan tourer and I love my F3800. The F3800 powers everything as you mention....Although to get 6kw out you need to utilize the socket configurations correctly
Another great review Stu. This looks great and I remember this being on Kickstarter but not being able to it as a home power backup is a deal breaker for me unfortunately. If it had it then I would have certainly got one
Nice car Stu, my long range is fabulous !
Unfortunately not mine… the wife refuses to approve my application to get one until we’ve moved house 😂 (I’m getting one as soon as we do).
Yeh i noticed it's a review to come, but they are soooo calming to drive and the bloody speed is another thing !@@StusReviewsUK
100% I was in a model y performance the other day and wow! So fast that acceleration!
It would indeed work with a transfer switch.
It's wild watching someone from Europe, saying units of measurements native to them, and it's the same as mine. Electricity, the universal unit lol.
My biggest problem with your videos are that they make me want to buy all this cool stuff 😁
Bear in mind, the 4kWh will likely be 3.5kWh usable after losses/inefficiency.
If I was going to order one I be ordering the US version this year when visiting my family they always the US get better products than the UK
I know right 💀🥲
put it in the boot!
I put it on the passenger seat and strapped it in 😂
Noticed this was hobbled when it first came on to the kickstarter thing.....and I was just as disappointed as you were. It has to be down to UK wiring regs etc....
BTW you sound so much like Jeremy Clarkson......
I’ve since had an email from anker that confirmed my suspicions… apparently regulations and red tape 🥲.
@@StusReviewsUKBooooo. Would be such an awesome product otherwise.
Would have been nice if you review the home panel but alas..
It would have been very nice indeed 🥲
You're going to smoke your EV's onboard charger using that high frequency, transformerless inverter. Without any galvanic isolation between the DC boost stage and its AC output, one day, you'll regret voiding your EVs warranty.
Your thumbnail was ai
Good spot - although not all of it is AI. The Tesla in the forest was. Me, the cable and the battery was not. I find AI is good for the groundwork for me to add on top of to get the thumbnail I want.
Someone got themselves a Tesla....in Wales....where theres no infrastructure for EVs...so yes, I agree with Joe, put it in the boot😂
Fun fact... i filmed a tesla model y review (still got the footage but not done anything with it yet)... and yes, i had to drive to aberystwyth just to use a supercharger 😂
Yes I did a tour last year and had to bring the ICE car sadly. Ireland no better.
Are you getting one of those fancy charger stations installing your home / garage? Just curious.
