- Went out this morning in the wind, high outgoing tide, in hopes of some TOG.... I hit a few fish and lost 2 quality blackfish but hey we can’t ocatch em all!!! While targeting blackfish I started seeing striped bass pop up on my screen so I gave it a shot and boy was it awesome....caught a few fish before the gopro died and countless after!!! hope everyone enjoys the video and remember to hit the SUBSCRIBE button for more content and footage coming soon!!!! Yea everything is catch and release as I’m not a seafood person...once in a while I’ll bring something home to the family but usually all fish are released to fight another day...as far as the kayak, yes it’s actually very stable, you just have to watch out when turning your body you don’t want to turn to fast because you’ll flip the kayak..

Really enjoyed the video. Been out on the Yak a few times this year and thinking of starting to fish from it, so you have been an inspiration. Dumb question: you seemed to paddle into the structure to stay in place. Was that because the current was fast and would take you away from there the fish were, or because the Taugs fight particularly hard and you wanted to secure yourself for the fight? Really thanks so much!
Never is there a dumb question....I peddle into the structure to stay in place so the current doesn’t sweep me away from the structure...that’s the best thing about peddles, you can peddle against current to stay over a spot or you can peddle into structure I.e. pilings and wedge yourself into place

How is it kayak fishing? Thinking of getting one but never fished on a kayak... pro and cons? And how’s the movement and comfortability went having a fish on?
If you get a peddle kayak then there isnt really any cons...you can peddle against current to stay in place and such..slower than boats but way more stealth...you can literally cruise over a blitz or up to the blitz without scaring off the fish..also you can get in the nooks and crannies and skinny water that a lot of boats can’t get into...comfortability wise you should get a padded seat so your back doesn’t hurt from sitting down for so long...it’s alittle awkward at first bringing a bigger fish up to the side of the kayak because you have to keep your rod up high and let out some line so your rod won’t bend or break but other than that it’s AWESOME!!!!and great exercise I might add...

Any tips and or techniques for fishing the Atlantic beach area
Right about now, it’s about being slow and steady...It’s that time of the year, the bite is starting to die out day by day but yet there still may be the day a super blitz happens on anyone of our beaches....but tip wise I suggest you use something that you can cast far so you can cover ground, still some rats swimming around...the back bay bite is still productive also with hold over fish....Thanks for watching Sean!! Tog season is over man....the water is kind of warm now..they will still bite but it’s catch and release....but pretty much any bridge will hold tog so check out your local bridges...any bridges closer to the ocean..back bay bridges will hold a few also...fish right up on the structure, if your not getting stuck your not tog fishing!!! Countless areas man...you have the whole rockaway sea wall that goes from Marine
parkway bridge down to 116st....you can fish off of the cross bay bridge or park and walk down to the flats and fish, Canarsie pier is another place, Floyd Bennett field also and if you drove around enough you’ll find little spots here and there

@@thesouthshoreanglerfishing now that I watched the whole video,I think I know exactly where it's at.but yea,I'm in Freeport,I have the Meadowbrook and Loop Parkway Bridges near me.i was fishing them in the 90s,wen the blackfish bite was crazy at those locations
Yea all of those bridges hold blacks, I was in LB today playing with the black fish and lost 2 quality fish
