unfortunately, some manufacturers like Huawei hard-lock the "engineer mode" preventing you to manually select the cell tower you want to be paired with. Instead I just have a "Project mode" where you can find some useful data but not editing anything...

is your modem from original huawei firmware or modified by and ISP? in original firmware you can change it in network settings 👌👍
@@skyrex042 in the device information it's mentionned this : version UI Web : Huawei RELOADED 2020 by jhowel22 .. so I think it's not the oroginal firmware, is there any solution using putty or other software because in the network settings I didn't find the channel

if you want cell locking sell/exchange your b310s-927 and buy/exchange it to b310s-938 or other that have cell locking since it already been debranded and have band locking on it👌👍
@@skyrex042 I found a firmware for b315 who works also with my router (b310), now I can look it on a special tower, but the firmware don't work really good with the LAN network ans the Antenna, thank you again brother

I bought Redmi note11, thinking that band locking will work on this device. But it is not working. I tried apps like activity launcher, quick shortcut maker etc. It just lock band for 2-3 seconds and then come back to normal. Do you know any method other than root, to use band lock in redmi note 11.
I also own a redmi note 11 and unfortunately I've been also trying to find ways to work around that and i've just given up considering buying shit from xiaomi sucks sometimes

Yes in a "s10g" Wi-Fi modem/router which you can do the same. It also work on other huawei modem but it's you need a laptop or pc👌👍

Yes it works on some huawei modem you just need to go to network settings if available.

Try to use activity launcher app and search band and press the lower one if still not work you need to root your phone and download cellular pro so you can change band and lock to cell tower👌👍
