Is The Giant the Precursor of the Image of the Beast?

In Revelation 13 we see that the second beast will have an image of the first beast made that will talk and cause anyone who does not worship it to be killed. The Giant Company is planning to build a giant electronic moving statue that can speak or sing, and there will be 21 of these in cities around the world. Is the Giant a precursor to the Image of the Beast that will be worshipped halfway into the 70th week of Daniel?
