I was dojo’d today by a parent asking what was wrong with their child who was hurt again in my classroom. I got this during instruction. The incident happened during lunch/ recess. I wasn’t even on campus. This has been the trend this whole year with this family. I am working on homework for 3-4 hours a night while I get my doctorate in education. I lesson plan and prep after that for an hour and get to school early to ensure I have my ducks in a row. This one family has made me and my efforts feel superfluous this entire year. I try not to focus on it, but I am literally working to change our educational system and going in debt to do so. I just wish parents could see that educators are not the enemy. 😢
🙄My mum ws dedicated Infnts/Elementary tcher. ANY parent saying teaching's easy/does kids' work/manipulate a tchr, should HAVE 2 teach/deal wth parents 4 a day!😂

I also had the experience of a parent taking her child's meds for ADHD. Got social services involved immediately. This really does happen sometimes. 😲
