FFXIV - What is Magic and how does it work? - Lore compilation - RP resource

Disclaimer, not English native speaker, me do all the big words very well, yes yes. :3
I got asked by some friends to make an overview on how magic works in Eorzea. I am by NO means an expert, so I am learning as I go along, but this is to the best of my knowledge the basic concepts on which all magics works.
Later on, I'll be doing some specific videos on the different schools of magic. This is meant for relaxation and entertainment, and is by no means meant to be a full or flawless overview.

Great content. I'm in love with this channel! I think that the speculations on the storyline and the lore in general are great in ffxiv, I've seen this kind of video on dark souls games where there is a deep lore in each item /character / location.. But on ffxiv it hits on a different level :) keep going I'll watch all of these lore videos!

That is super fantastic to hear, and I will absolutely make more lore stuff. ^^ While I do adore helping people make gil, because it is a fun mini-game within the game, doing lore is where my heart is mostly at. ^^ And I really do enjoy diving into the lore, even if it is a vast sea of stuff at times!

I will love to do that, but for now this series is paused until we've gotten Sage and whatever else Endwalker might contribute to the knowledge about how casters work. ^^ I am really looking forward to the rework, and I am honestly wondering how they'll pull the AST lore through the changes they've proposed, but hey. ^^ I'll give the team creadit for being super good at backwriting things. :D
