I didn't expect all that clicking on this tbh

If I am still under level 10 and all my gil is gone. Ive completed all the quests you can do for my level, and I haven't unlocked levequests yet. I have no items in my inventory, no equipment in my armory chest or even on my body. I only have the level 1 weathered weapon, and even that's totally broken. And I'm starting in Gridania so I can't get to drybone yet What do I do?

Hi Fay! I appreciate this channel and especially this video. I hadn't seen your most recent upload, but I just today discovered your channel, and I very very recently got back into FFXIV after a year long hiatus (mostly because there was this weird issue with the whole thing where they stopped selling endwalker because of customer overfkow and i couldn't get it for some time and my preorder got cancelled but i won't get into it here) and was just browsing FFXIV videos on this platform at work for something to listen to as i go about my routine. I work as an "essential employee" as well, although my pay was salary based, so I'm not able to do overtime. (Discouraged to do so anyway.) I don't work for emergency services or anything extreme like that but as a custodian for building plans for the public sector. Due to the nature of the equipment I operate, I had to come into the office because our infrastructure has no support for access to work from home. (Somehow...) Our department was the only department that couldn't work from home as a result, so it was an entire year of me sitting in a mostly lonely office doing nothing for 8 hours a day, wishing for the day I could just go home like everyone else. I've grown to become sensitive for people who had to work overtime during the pandemic as a result of this, which was already a sentiment i held long before the pandemic for other nonpandemic related employees. But to me during that time, every hour wasted felt like I could be doing something else, but I was fearful of actually doing anything else for fear of spreading something I wasn't sure I had at the time, let alone catching it. FF XIV used to be a game I check on every now and again ever since a realm reborn. I've never quite actually figured out the headspace to actually talk to random people in game just yet, as I am an introvert with a close circle of friends, but there was a definite point where FF XIV just "became" fun, and I felt like I've been able to engage (a little) more. The community in this game is a whole other entity from any MMOs I've ever played. I would never trade it for anything else. I have a funny story now. Okay here is the funny story. Commencening of the funnying: After coming back to the game after taking a year long break I never realized this at the time but it turned out I was literally 5 quests away from finishing Shadowbringers leveling MSQ ;_; So I got a bit of time before I can get to Endwalker. 24:50 Do you know of a lore reason as to why Urianger actually speaks like that? It can't be a Sharlayan thing because no one in Sharlayan speaks like that. It can't be a Scion thing, because no scion speaks like that. It can't be an elezen thing, because no one in Gridania or Ishgard speaks like that.. So where did it come from?

ahhhh, this is great info, thank you for compiling this! i have been playing sch/smn since i started the game and i was wondering what the difference was between arcanima and anima, and i think i get it now. arcanima are really powered by your aether, they don't have a true source of aether of their own - if you died, your arcanima would pop out of existence immediately. but the anima is actually a full soul and therefore produces its own aether - it is truly independent, and doesn't require you to be powering it on all the time.

I am only 9 minutes in so far and yet this is legitimately the most detailed and concise ff14 gil making tutorial I have ever seen so far. Though I know most of this info, there is some so far I did not know about. So thank you for making such a detailed and simplified tutorial. Even for a year old video, there are still many relevant details for today. Hope your well.

This was great! I love the Steppe! I just completed the main part of SB and it is my absolute favorite place. My character is also an Au Ra so when I walked through that mouton pass for the first time I really did feel like it was home.

Is there a lore reason that explains why Summoner's Physick is so bad when Red Mage's Vercure is so good? I find it strange that a spell that seemingly originates in Arcanima gets watered down so severely by going the path of the summoner. I understand it being somewhat powerful for Arcanists, because all mage clothing up till 30, and sometimes past that will yield mind, so I'm guessing you're actually meant to be somewhat competent at casting it? Maybne I'm just missing something vital here.. Also, is it considered coloured magic? Like, can you consider Physick White Magic, or is Arcanima not really considered to have colours?

Started playing a month ago, but still struggling to make gil in game cause im a hoarder and always tell myself this or that might be useful one day so why sell it. But I see now that to get gil, I have to part with some stuff and make time to farm some. I only once got over 500k gil only to drop down to 200k after a round of crafting lvl 50 + stuff for my company for seals. So thank you for making a guide for actual beginners and not assuming most players are max level and know much of everything.

Your video leaves out one of the most essencial aspects of Arcanima: it is the magic of aether seen as the life giving link from soul to a living being ("Anima" is Latin for soul) right now... like as a matter of fact. That is why all the Archanist spells are never distructive. They are either healing spells or somehow ruin the body from the inside. This is also the link to alchemy, which is the science of life in FF14. Alchemy and Arcanima form therefore the secular/scientific aspects of magic in FF14. They are about humans and other living things as accesible by human understanding through math. While the other two magic classes are religiouse by nature, because they are about the deeper connections in the world: The mystery of Death and Distruction (where are we going?) in the case of the Thaumaturge, or mystery of creation (where are we coming from?) in the case of the Conjurer.

I am extremley late to the party, I do not normally comment alot either but You seriously deserve more respect if you do not have alot. You filled in information not only from your knowledge (which you seem to possess alot because of the passion for the game) but also if it did not make it across refrenced others. I mean, in all fairness you still need to be have cleared Prætorium for all subsequent classes so they're kinda still storygating. Although the 100 quests of death before arriving at the start of HW is a significant timesaver if you're just making it through
