The increasing viability of alternative energy sources along with demand for green places in urban areas with massive population growth have combined to make local governments powerful enough to implement such solutions. These measures are passed when larger governments are often gridlocked and stagnant. It'll be interesting to see how these problems are addressed by local governments in a time when the world is moving into major metropolitan areas more than ever.
Really? She didn't expose the scam, she merely regurgitated untruths. Imagine if all of that energy and money were directed to real issues, rather than the political power catch all of 'climate change'?

There´s a conflict between holism and reductionism in this matter. The naysayers always begin with some details and by induction prove their point. And yeah sayers talking about global over local questions. A video that connects these two views is very interesting. There are local changes that contribute to global warming. For example, the major of CO2 emissions are in the cities combined with Heat Islands, pollution. I think these imbalances cause strong winds, rain, tornados, local climate shift ... So, the mainstream narratives doesn´t connect with the cities, due to the political sensitivity to this matter. So far, most of the narratives concentrate in deforestation, energy generation ( coal power plants, ... ), hydroelectrics, agriculture, ...
So.. a gal with a PhD in Political Science(which isn't a Science) has a TedTalk about her beliefs in what Policy changes need to occur based on Science... Hmmm 👌
I have to watch this for a class
