The church you visited was St Anthony's church where on 21st of April on Easter Sunday 5 years ago during mass the bomb was blasted and so many died.

We loved the clip about St Lucy Cathedral. My family is from that area and we loved every bit of it. Really sad almost every Vlogger just disregard the beautiful churches in Colombo. Kudos for you to being one of the first. Hope more people will explore and show the churches. One question tho, you did not explore and show the interior of the Cathedral which is absolutely beautiful.

21:05 the area you were before is not the market. So its not busy. And the market had a mosque because business is dominated by muslims since the 18th century. The market is busy. Theres a temple 100s ahead the market too!

Not really. Sri Lanka contains Sinhalese, Tamils , Muslims etc. Yet , the majority is Sinhalese in Sri Lanka including Colombo

Oh looks like a muslim country. I saw in news about Easter Bombing in Sri Lanka. Now I understand why.
Sri Lanka is a majority Buddhist country it's about 70% Buddhist and Hindu, christian and Muslims makes up the other 30% . Muslims are little less than 10 % of the population.
Colombo has many muslims. Especially central colombo
@@Userdudei in and around the city of colombo yes . Out side the colombo district it's some scattered town and village's around the country. except for the eastern province were Muslims are the majority.
