- Review of the new Evolv Shamans with the Plastic Fantastic crew ( Erik and Jeremy )and our awesome guest reviewers Abby and Taylor. The shoes are amazing Guys. We simply love them. If you loved the older versions, you will love the performance and plus the comfortability ( oh so nice and comfortable ) of these new versions. From what I'm gathering from everyone that I'm talking to, they just simply need to try them on to know how special they are.
We also had the opportunity to try on the OG versions last year and it made for a great jump off point for us to compare and contrast with this update to an already well beloved shoe.
I love my pair. They are my second pair of shoes and i still think of myself as a beginner but these fit so well. Feel comfy and the way they are shaped makes me want to try new things on the routes. Love them. Hopefully i can make them last forever.

I found them to be extremely small. I usually size down 1 from my street shoe, but had to size up .5 to make it fit . The sound cuts off in your video btw around 10:20
Going to pick up a pair tonight as my second pair of climbing shoes ever. Thanks for a great video!
How'd that go for you man?
They are a great shoe. Aggressive, but comfortable. The toe bump is great to underclings. I primarily boulder and top rope, indoor and out. Hardest route I've done with them is a 5.11a and a V6. My only complaint is the sizing was weird for me. I usually wear a 9.5 but I had to get a 12! And with the 12 my toes are still curling pretty good. But overall I give them a 8.7/10. Would definitely buy again.
Thanks man, I appreciate the info. I am also researching for my second pair and I'm going back and forth between the shamans and the agros.
I hear good things about the Agros. The price point on the Shamans are a little high, but the quality is there. Safe climbing!
