Lok Sabha witnessed a major security breach this week, on the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack. Two alleged protestors trespassed into the House chamber, and opened smoke canisters.
Ideally, it should have led to serious questions over the security apparatus of the Parliament. But instead, TV journalists crowded outside the House and had a field day fighting over who would first do their piece-to-camera with the “smoke bomb” - an alleged evidence.
TV9 Bharatvarsh journalist got the canister first, leading to a scramble among the reporters and editors of News Nation, News18 and Aaj Tak. New18’s Pallavi Ghosh could not catch a break as we saw her on the feed of multiple channels attempting to get hold of the “bomb”.
In the primetime slots, anchors congratulated the MPs who were seen beating the protestors in the Parliament in the videos of the incident.
In this episode, we look at all the nuisance that took place, and everything the TV reportage missed out amid the chaos.

I didn't stop laughing while watching this episode. However, it's extremely disturbing to see this sad state of our media. Pallavi and the others are not running for a smoke can but for TRPs, that's all I could see.

I think I can understand Neelam Singh's situation. I am SET qualified in 2013 but I am still working on a merge salary and being exploited in a College and have wasted almost 10yrs of my life studying to achieve this.... My husband is also SET qualified he ranked 3rd in the state, was harassed by his PhD guide because of which he left it and is now doing a small scale business..... I can completely relate to it

An MPhil/PhD in India is worthless. Low ranking military recruits are literally bottom feeders who have no skills to get a private sector job, which is why they join the military. It pays subsistence wage, has pension and healthcare.
