Comrades - How to make a viable Father's Sigil + Crossbow support build

Edit: Instead of Farming Master Tonberries, a faster method to get Dark Matter is to play the "Menacin Mechs" quest and break the Liches that spawn from the Niduses. Don't kill the mechs all the Niduses and you should have an easy time farming them without loading screens of any kind.

Wasn't there a ring in the base game that stops all exp gain? Did SQ not include that in Comrades?
Unfortunately, they didn't. I'd honestly recommend just using a level 99 build. You'll deal less damage, but damage was never the point of this build to begin with, it's just extra. And it saves all the hassle. I just didn't have a level 99 Tenebrae character at hand, so I made the level 1 version.

Thumbs up. I'm in the process of getting a Mutant Mace of the Fierce. It comes with Sentinel X. I was going to put another Sentinel X on it, boost the level to 120, and optimize the vitality. It might be a good weapon to minimize the chance of accidentally getting hit. Of course, its got some HP so I'd have to use more Dark Matter to reduce HP to 1.

I am certainly planning on making more Comrades videos (as well as for base FFXV). They likely wont be build videos like this one, mainly because I haven't thought of any other new builds so far (and there are enough guides already for PenX Dragon Whiskers and Diaga glass cannons). Probably gonna be something having to do with combat mechanics or boss guides...

Quick Question: Is the healing power of the father in ANY way altered by the magic stat? because if so I would go full Magic on everything!
Nope, the healing power of Father is based off of the target's HP. You could still go the magic route and use Firaga to attack instead of Elder's Bow though.

Late to the party but I made this build with the mutant mace of the fierce with double sentinel X on it so 60% of attack miss while I'm healing.

Battle-worn fatigues. You get it after beating the bonus quest "Dastardly Duo".
I made a max lv character using blood shield and brought it down to 1 HP Lol.
