  • The 2 Biggest Changes That Saved Last Epoch In The Long Run
    In this video I talk about some positive things for once, about how I believe there had been 2 huge changes this patch that has essentially saved the game for the future, as they brought fundamental game design issues that would have otherwise festered and boiled until players started getting annoyed by them when they started passing that 1k hour mark.

    Criticism and talking about things that need to be fixed is necessary, but appreciate hearing the positive things every so often. It can be easy to just assume everyone knows what the good changes have been.

      I agree, uncomfortable conversations have to be had it’s like if a close friend was doing something you know will hurt them long term and you don’t want to sit and watch that path unfurl, we also have a lot of positives that get highlighted more when we play other games and come back to LE and see all the good

    Hey Dr3ad, have you thought about making a damage calculation video? I often wonder how different stats affect scaling and how much efficiency you get from penetration and shred. Just a thought 👍

    Dread can you make an updated version of the minion frost archers and skeleton mages build?

      I played that this season, at the beginning of 1.0 and it did amazing. But I am sure there are better builds for later corruption

    I just dont want ward or low life to be absolutely necessary in a build tbat pushes 300+ corruption. Ward needs a giga re-work

      right now there are plenty of life builds that push past 300 corruption, I've already played plenty of them and so have my friends. I would say Ward enters the equation much later, like 1k+

      @@Dr3adful interesting, I'm capped on resistances and dodge/ parry etc, and I still get one shot at level 96 in 152 corruption unless I have around 2k ward. I just hate that I feel like I NEED the ward

      ​@ravenzkilla playing a life build requires high life and endurance and block/glancing blow. Dodge is not particularly useful for avoiding one shots.

    Some few builds still OS bosses even without bugs (but for these build, DR didnt impact them as they OS bosses the system wasn't efficient anyway), lets see if they are somehow balanced in 1.0.

      Well a lot of them were also overtuned as well, so I've noticed a lot of the builds that used to hit Boss DR don't hit it nearly as hard anymore. To the point where its almost negligible.

    I love the level of down to earth that these developers have I think that they’re even putting the pressure on developers for other ARP games and setting the tone! Gotta love the kinda leadership that can bring industry wide shifts
    I got my ravenous void from a random mob inside of a monolith and I was genuinely shocked because when I looked up the item I was like did I just break the game this is supposed to be like a specific drop or something like that but apparently they changed it in some regard that just makes that feeling of “you never know” that much better… it reminds me of back when I was a kid opening packs of Pokémon or yugioh cards lol, the full clear or at least clearing relative density has a purpose rather than just objective rush like you said

    genuine question because i was feeling the same way as you, is the high corruption xp nodes still the best way to get favor en masse? felt like it just made rushing even better but i may have missed some patches ( played first month of this update)

    I don't like to rush the game, but the campaign is too long and boring to me, and when you reach endgame is the same thing over, over and over...
