Fantastic! So enjoyable and the camerawork and editing are fist class. The scenery is different every time and I love seeing the Motels. Reminds me a bit of Psycho.
I'm glad you guys got to make this journey while it was still worth doing. America has the widest range of cultures, environments, and geologically diverse ranges in the world.
It’s a beautiful country almost too vast to appreciate. We’ll be back at some point when the budget allows, the pound vs dollar did not help us this trip 😂😫
@@ItsOhJoe Wish there was a way to swap citizenship for a month at a time or something. LOL My wife and I have been wanting to do the UK trip since we got married 31 years ago. Unfortunately doesn't seem likely at this point. Anyway, glad you guys have the opportunity to travel, and take as much in as you can. Take care.
So glad to see you back and enjoying your trip with you. Never was on route 66, but reminds me of hwy 99 in calif. In mid 50s. Except every few miles would be fruit stands and big orange shaped and color stands selling orange juice. 🍊 thru san Jacquin valley. In summer hot and no air conditioning in cars. Windows down hair flying, fun.
Really good to see you back and ok, getting worried you had both been arrested, shot, jailed, kidnapped or any combination of the previous disasters. Stay safe.
Hahha Joe - all my exes live in Texas. Is that a GTA reference? I’m sure I could drive around most cities from nights on GTA. I didn’t think I’d like the non boat trips but you guys make this stuff such fun. Thanks again x
Hi Danni, Joe, what amazing adventure you have had. Driving on that dirt road in the middle of nowhere, would scare me, but you guys just take it in your stride. Really fantastic Vlogs you have created of your holiday. So well edited. Thank you. One last thing.... I have bought a Jackery!!!! Have a great week. Take care.
So many memories!! I have friends in Oklahoma City and one year we took a road trip to Colorado via Texas and New Mexico and stopped at all of the cool places you've shown us. Not envious at all 😆
It was lovely to see you both. Your certainly packing it all in. Wonderful scenery and you make it sound exciting. Loved the video. Have great week and stay safe.
We have traveled for a lot of years from Illinois to Arizona and have always stopped at Tucumcari. Then 54 south to Vaughn and then west on Rt 61 to to IS 25 to Hatch NM to the hottest peppers you can find.
What happened to you, expected your you tube video sooner as you travelled. But all’s well as you are back and looking good. Lots of info also which is great, as I doubt I will ever travel Route 66. Thank you both.👍👏
We got really bogged down trying to find time to put the videos together, we didn’t even have a channel when we planned this trip a couple of years ago and really could’ve done with rest days along the route!
I love, love, love your Vlogs traveling Route 66. You guys definitely have a calling for Travel Videos. It would be awesome if some advertiser picked up on that. Your enthusiasm for life if refreshing.
If your adventure takes you near the Grand Canyon try to get a helicopter ride over the canyon me and my partner stayed on a ranch did horse back and helicopter tour great experience great to see you on your travels keep the vlogs coming are you missing your narrow boat
Now you understand what Americans are talking about when they talk about 20 minutes to the grocery store, or 45 minute drive to work each way. lol It might also show you why many American's don't travel abroad much. Great video. Hope you're not getting sensory overload.
Glad yall made it to Texas even if it was just the panhandle. There are better beers in Texas. Southern Star, Karbach, St. Arnolds just to name a few :)
Yes as Nobby said mostly signposted but worth having a book or two with maps as there’s older sections that you may be more inclined to travel along and there will be points of interest that you can choose from. If you stopped at everything in every book it could take you 6 months!
Also we did use google maps with the route options set to avoid motorways/interstates and generally they would keep you somewhat on track. Good as a backup.
We took a few weeks off to enjoy the rest of the trip (and our wedding/honeymoon). We’re back in the UK now, one more USA video to edit and then back to boat videos!

Another great vlog, you don't dissapoint, can't wait for the next one.
Thank you!!
Looks' like you're having a great vacation. Stay safe and have fun. Looking forward to your next video.
Thank you!

Ahh sounds so nostalgic! We did see fruit stands when driving up highway 1 in Cali!
Really good to see you back and ok, getting worried you had both been arrested, shot, jailed, kidnapped or any combination of the previous disasters. Stay safe.
We did have two run ins with the police but no shootings or kidnappings fortunately!!

Hi Danni and Joe, I was missing you . Are you back in the UK? Thank you for sharing your adventures. It looks like you had a great time. 😎
Hey! Yes we are back in the UK, just one more America video then we will catch you up to speed with our narrowboat once again 😊

Wow awesome holiday. Looks amazing. Stay safe.
Thank you!
Bravo! Get your kicks on route sixty-six.
Would’ve loved to have seen it in its hay day!
Very cool. Glad you made it. Enjoy the ride.
Thank you!
Good to see the trip going well. Was getting worried, thought you had got lost😀
😂😂😂
Love your Route 66 videos but please watch out for snakes when you're checking out old buildings!!!! Or exploring the desert!!!
Yeah we didn’t realise quite how common or dangerous they are!
We have traveled for a lot of years from Illinois to Arizona and have always stopped at Tucumcari. Then 54 south to Vaughn and then west on Rt 61 to to IS 25 to Hatch NM to the hottest peppers you can find.

We’re back home now but did manage to get a helicopter from Vegas over the canyon. So beautiful!

Oh its so vast it’s too hard to comprehend some journeys! Also there’s all the seasons you could wish for perfect for beaches all the way to skiing!
Glad yall made it to Texas even if it was just the panhandle. There are better beers in Texas. Southern Star, Karbach, St. Arnolds just to name a few :)
Would love to explore more of Texas, can’t believe it’s 4 x the size of England!
Doesn’t everyone plan their next holiday whilst on holiday?
It would be a different story if we could afford it! 😂
Who is controlling the drone?
I’ll normally fly it whilst Danni drives 🙂
how easy is it to follow Route 66? is it well sign posted or do you just use google maps?
Yes as Nobby said mostly signposted but worth having a book or two with maps as there’s older sections that you may be more inclined to travel along and there will be points of interest that you can choose from. If you stopped at everything in every book it could take you 6 months!

Where have you been it's been a long time since you've last video thought you been kidnapped

yep only took you a week to not fit into your shirts anymore, welcome to America.
😫😂
SO, your favorite burger????? 5 Guys or In & Out? Or somewhere else?
In & Out = unbeatable value, so so cheap & Five Guys for a treat once in a while! We have Five Guys here though so definitely miss In & Out more!
6:22 wasn't the best choice to feature, especially with what else is getting released in Texas today.
This was actually filmed before the Uvalde shooting and being back in the UK we hadn’t seen news coverage of the latest ruling unfortunately.
No need to come back. The NHS has finally collapsed!

First guess would’ve been JFK’s so not a clue! Would love to know though

Not a good idea to drink and drive...illegal.
Not quite sure what clip you’re referring too!
