The most detailed perfect tutorial of Bow of Light from "The Legend of Zelda" !!! This luxury Bow of Light is the most exhausting craft I did, after all, I have no magic. Haha~
In order to make the Bow of Light's shoot arrows, I put plywood as a base, left and right eva sponge to thicken, and then cut and polished to shape. In order to restore the arrow, I built a furnace for the first time trying to forge iron, (imagine 39 ℃ outdoors plus a furnace...). Due to the lack of my arm strength, the shape is a little irregular. The arrow is heavy, and the center of gravity leaning forward, so I need to pay attention to adjust the balance when shooting arrows.

Amazing craft! It blew my mind when I realised you were going to forge the arrows! The end result looks so beautiful and elegant. The Zelda cosplay was a great touch too :D

Blah No. 3 - smithing is a highly skilled trade which to a large extent is dying out. Traditionally, blacksmiths are (necessarily) strong men who go through a long apprenticeship to learn their trade. It is astonishing to me that Xiaoqian has decided that she needed to become a blacksmith to forge the arrowhead of Zelda's arrow, so she just did it - built a forge, got a piece of reinforcing steel as a source material (a difficult choice - as someone else has pointed out, reinforcing steel is very hard and strong), picked up what looks like a full sized blacksmith's hammer and, in very hot weather conditions, alternately heated and hammered at the steel until she had produced what she wanted. I hope she will forgive me for pointing out that she is a slender young woman, not a big strong man, so this task must have been extraordinarily difficult and required a great deal of determination and stamina. She is evidently not completely satisfied with the arrowhead because it is not perfectly symmetrical, but I would guess every viewer just thinks it is amazing.
Nothing but respect for this level of craftsmanship and dedication, but I was really worried about the weight when she didn’t split the initial board in half before adding on the detailing. But then she built her own forge and I realized this absolute legend is bothered by something as mundane as weight😱🤩🤩🤩
Also can we talk about how picturesque that garden is, like Miyazaki would be proud 👏👏👏

Love the fact that you seem to try everything and anything and with practice and determination you get proficient at them. I think most people assume things are too hard from the outset or they try something and it doesn't work once so they give up.
At the start I was baffled as to what the clay was for, I certainly wasn't expecting that.

One tip though: rebar is often quite tough steel that requires a lot of heat and a lot of effort to forge, so you will generally be better off trying to find a different source of steel if possible.
Like everyone else said, this is really amazing. Which is why I urge you to get eye protection when you work on these projects.... You only have one set of eyes and damaging them would waste the amount of efforts you undoubtedly put in your craft... You're already wearing ear protection and gloves when it's important... so don't neglect your eyes as they're just as important as the rest.

If everything we've seen so far wasnt enough now shes forging things too? It always blows my mind to how crafty she is. The amount of skills we've seen her use on her works are just out of his world.
Not just the attention to deal, precision, the incredible creativity or even the amount of different techniques and that shes always trying a new one, but yet u get so much hard work and commitment to each piece that theres just no way u can be that lazy to not leave a like.
