I have been using Panasonic Arc 5 Lv95 every day for more than 8 years now. It is absolutely brilliant. It works great both dry and wet. If I have time I usually use it with shaving foam, which leads to much better shaving results.
Based on your enlightening reviews I decided to go with the Panasonic Arc 5... and wow! I used it for the first time this morning and it was an awesomely comfortable and pleasant shave! I couldn't seriously notice any difference with a regular blade shave vs. the Arc 5. It makes me wish my stubble grew quicker so I could shave more often.
I've always used and enjoyed the Panasonic shavers, but was considering Braun given Amazon's tech recommendation. Thanks for your comprehensive comparison. It helped me to decide to stay with the Panasonic line. BTW, I have found the original cleaning solution a source of skin irritation, so always use the dry/charge cycle after cleaning under the faucet with liquid soap. Works great and saves cost of cleaning cartridges or solution. Thanks for your helpful service.

I just got the Panasonic arc 4 electric razor, and I really love. I am going to get the Panasonic arc 5 here really soon. I did use a Braun series 7 but the shaver was not all that great. I use to love Braun, but now, i got into the Panasonic because it shaves really really well. I am so happy with it.

Hi, Darijan Hrastić . Thank you so much! I appreciate your support of the channel and glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Just got the Arc 5 yesterday and it's amazing. For the past several years I had the Phillips Norelco senso touch 3D round/rotary shaver and it used to cut good but it never did the job on its own. Because of the design could not get right under the nose or neat sideburns. The flip out clipper was also tiny. I had to keep my old shaver (cheap Braun single foil) for the under the nose and sideburn areas. But this new Arc 5 is crazy compared to those! Cuts fast and close. I've actually not used aftershave or anything in years but I'm getting some today. The closest shave I've had in a long time.
The charging pin on my Braun Series 8 wet/dry shaver corroded and broke off after 1.5 years. So much for 100% waterproof. Given the obvious design flaw that carries over to the Braun Series 9, I opted to buy a Panasonic Arc 5. This review was helpful in deciding, thank you.

I bought the Panasonic Arc5 ( I was fortunate enough to find the ES-LV9N model) and the Braun Series 9 about 2 months ago. After letting my face get used to the razors (I came straight from DE wet shaving), there's no contest. At least for my face, the Arc5 is quicker, more efficient, cuts closer, and just feels better on my face. The Braun definitely feels more abrasive and generates more heat than the Arc5. And I can always go over the Braun Series 9 side with the Arc5 and get closer. Can't say the same for the Series 9. Don't get me wrong - the Series 9 is a sweet machine, and if I'd never tried the Arc5 I'd probably be perfectly happy with the Braun. But I did, and the Arc5 does it for me. Also, I tried several pre-electric shave lotions (Speick, Afta, Lectric Shave, Labs Series, and a brand from Israel called Freelette). Give the Freelette a shot if you haven't already - for my face, at least, it's head & shoulders above the others. And thanks for the awesome video!

I had a Braun 9 Pro Series shaver 2 years ago. The first shaver broke down due to some internal fault after a year. I bought another Braun 9 Series, and just after 1 year, it broke down again. I'm not getting any Braun shavers ever again, came here for a Panasonic review.

Thanks in advance. 😎 I recently bought the Arc 5 and love it…I just do not understand why there are only 2 inner blades when there are 5 blades on the outer foil? …are there electric gear motors that make the remaining blades move? Hi, Enrico. Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you and appreciate your support of the channel. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Enrico Colombo I bought both the Panasonic razors arc 4 and 5, so that way, I can personally have a variety. I love using the 5 because it covers a wide area. The 4 is nice as well, but one blade less. I found the a4c 5 on Amazon for $250 but got it on a limited deal for $199. Nice to have high end razors.
I used Braun all the while from their old flagship model to series 7 and later changed to Panasonic Arc 3. I find that the Arc 3 shaved more better and gentle on my skin as compared to the Series 7. Just got myself a Panasonic ES LV9C and loving it.
Great review, I heard some things about the newer Braun series about how they are made cheaper then what they used to be, is that true? Anyways, I think I'll go to Panasonic anyway 👍
Hi, Chris. Thank you so much for the support of the channel! I greatly appreciate it. I'm not sure about the cheaper quality you mention, as I can only speak to the products I've reviewed to-date and how they've performed in my demonstrations. I can say that the Braun Series 9 in this video is a quality product, but it is quite expensive. At its price point, the Panasonic has more advantages in its corner and is the better bargain at its lower price. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community. All the best!
Hi, César Israel castillo . Thank you for your suggestion of the Remington XF8700 Edge Pro shaver. I will keep this product in mind for a possible review on a future video. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Awesome video, you realy helped me to chose trimer for close shave. Can you give me advice on what's the best body trimer? I would use it from time to time for, maybe, a stouble, but mainely for body... p.s. it would be realy nice if you could make a video of ultimate grooming set, your top recommendations for close shave, body, eare-nose trimer etc...
Hi, Igor. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it. I just posted an answer to the same question from Vinko Grgic as follows: As far as a body groomer, I recommend taking a look at two different products I have reviewed. The first video is for the Philips Norelco Bodygroom 7100 seen here: ua-cam.com/video/vTlRbEc6uEY/v-deo.html. Do note, however, that this product is only meant for below the neckline. The second product is the Braun MGK3080 Beard Trimmer and Body Shaver seen here: ua-cam.com/video/6Y5toCfzin0/v-deo.html. This product comes with a dedicated body grooming attachment in addition to the tools needed to trim up the beard, which could be a good option if looking for that dual functionality. Take a look and let me know what you think! Thanks for watching and your support of the channel! All the best!

Thanks for the video brother. Good stuff.just got the Panasonic arch 5 from Amazon. Its a cool shaver. How many times can u use the cleaning detergent water which we use for cleaning the shaver. can we just maintain the shaver by cleaning it with water ??? Have doubts regarding the cleaning of station it . Thank you.
Hi, PRANEETH. You are most welcome! Thank you for the positive feedback. According to Panasonic, the Arc 5 cleaning liquid should last you approximately 30 days if used once per day. There is also an option to clean the shaver without the self-cleaning station. In this scenario, when the faucet symbol appears on the lamp display, Panasonic recommends applying some hand soap and some water to the system outer foil. You then can press the power switch for more than 2 seconds to activate the sonic vibration cleaning mode, which lasts around 20 seconds. Once finished, remove the outer foil and repeat the activation of the sonic vibration cleaning mode and clean the inner foils with running water. To dry, wipe off any drops with a dry cloth and leave out to dry. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
@@GroomReviews Thank you so much. Really helpful information. It is such a good shaver. My only problem is the beard should be really a small stubble or it just does not shave clean in the neck and deep areas. other than that it is so smooth and slick. Cheers.

I’ve had both for years and yes the Panasonic is better and cuts more, but the Braun can be necessary if you have very sensitive skin.
Bought the arc 5 based off your review ! Thank you for the intel and saving us $$ !

I recently bought the Arc 5 and love it…I just do not understand why there are only 2 inner blades when there are 5 blades on the outer foil? …are there electric gear motors that make the remaining blades move?
Thanks in advance. 😎

Hi, @boristsvetanov5588. Thanks for the question. If you check out my video description, you will find links to the products. I am still seeing them selling on Amazon: amzn.to/2LmqU4x. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Arc 5 all day
Hi Paul, nice and interesting video. I think I'll buy the Panasonic Arc 5 shaver. Thanks!
Just what i want to compare
Hey have you heard about remington edge pro 8700 can u make a review of it if u have a chance
Thanks for the help
Excellent.

Cheers.
