@Bitch Please We'll trade you for her. 😊
Yeah I totally agree 💯👍👌

Her diploma will be arriving by mail shortly.

Carlie Flowers -maple flavored bacon!
YASS
True Americans can eat an entire pancake in 3 big gulps
She figured that delicious combo very quickly. She's so adorable!
If Ron Swanson from the TV series Parks and Recreation was a real person, he would find a way to adopt Grandma.
I don’t think she realized it, but that bacon/pancake moment made her look like a real American 😂
😂 right
So accurate for a big southern breakfast you fill your plate then it just gets mixed in and you just scoop and eat 😂

That grandma is the cutest woman ever right now. She’s freaking adorable

Grandma OK already leveling up with the bacon pancake move, are you sure she's never been to the US 😂
Grandma OK did mention in one of the older videos that she came into contact through connections with American culture in a way, so :D
Which means she already figured out that maple and bacon are amazing together, in the process!
Yes, that is the best way to eat a pancake! A little bacon with every bite.
You should try a Full English Breakfast next...
She has right?
When she ate the pancake with the bacon together I thought to myself "She gets it".
Yep
Yes! Done like a true American, so proud 😭

To be protected at all costs xD
That's us when we turn 80 😂
It's still tasty if you place the crispy cooked bacon on paper toweling to absorb all that excess grease before you serve it. Yes, you are old enough to eat what you want, grandma. Bacon fat tastes good.
Yeah, shes awesome.
Kayne Valencia fr! When I’m old you best bet I’m gonna use being old as an excuse. 😂 like how dare you tell me what to do! I lived through the corona virus. 🤞🏼

Most of us do not realize how blessed this old woman is. She is in her 80s, good spirits and appear to be in good health. I want to be just as spunky when I reach her age.
I wondered how old she was. She doesn't look her age. At 61, I think that I look older than her!

she wont b in good health very long if she eats that crap!

Korean Birthdays are different. On New year's everyones age increases 1 year if I remember correctly.
She has such a great appetite for her age. I remember my Nana and Granny barely eating anything in their 80s. It's lovely to see the relationship between you two.
I live in Japan and I think this is an Asian thing. Because I have seen my husbands 90 years old granny eat as same amount as me.
They can swallow without any coughs and drink and eat alcohol, greasy food and eat a full bowl of rice with almost every meal. That’s why maybe they live so long.
I have a neighbor who lives on the street behind me (she's 87), and one across the street (she's 92), and today when I made a crock-pot full of beef stew and a huge pan of biscuits, I took some to both. Had to have it done early, though, because they eat supper at 4:00 in the afternoon.
i dont get why old ppl do that. I mean most of us try to be healthy when we are young but when we reach 80 or so, why not just enjoy life and dont give a shit about what we eat? Im a foodie. If my doc ever tells me to not eat my favourite stuff when im old, then I dont give a shit. I also refuse to take medication if I dont have to. Just endure the headaches, cold, etc. Body will get stronger. The higher the tolerance the better.
@@shinjid3705 i think this is just in the sense that many old people lose their appetites and cannot just force themselves to eat
@@banan7308 Will never happen to me xD A foodie will always be a foodie. Old or young doesnt matter. If u dont have a good appetite to begin with then surely u lose eat even less when getting old. She cut the pancake into adorable little slices. She’s too precious for this world.
How else are you supposed to eat pancakes ... taking one whole folding and stuffing the meat & sauce over it, like a korean moo shu pork & pancake ?? ... I love this lady, she's open to everything. In a world where most minds are closed, this lady is willing to try everything, experience things outside her comfort zone. So this means I can eat bat? YES!
They forgot to have her try coffee . I’m not sure if that is commonly in Korea though.
SantaBarbaraDianne Lol, it is. Huge ass Starbucks around the corner from my apartment in Korea. Also in the video they mention she doesn’t like coffee.
She is not willing to try everything lol. At least she was willing to try American breakfast which reminded her of food back home just a little bit more yummy:)! Also you wouldn't believe how Americanized with food Korea has come. There are American food joints all over Korea

I find it easy on the stomach, just dont over eat. Now korean food is much more hardcore spice wise.
Mike Isaac eggs make me regret everything. I get so sick if they are made certain ways
Guys just relax, if you eat in small amounts most things are easy on the stomach. We Americans don’t understand small sizes or portion control, for us bigger is better and better is always bigger. To all of you country folk complaining about food coma and clogged arteries, try eating grandma sized amounts for a good while and try not too notice that you do feel much better than you did before you started answering yes to the question: “would you like too “super size me”?

Finally a foreigner who gets it. I swear, whenever I see someone trying an American breakfast, they always think we eat that every single day. You nailed it on the head though.
A full breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and bacon is something we would be more likely to have on the weekends when there's family around(its not something you make when it's just you too often).
Pancakes, waffles, and french toast we don't eat very often at all, unless you have kids you might have it on weekends. We see it as a treat to have every once in a while.
If I had to guess, I'd say most people don't eat breakfast. We value that extra hour of sleep. Or if we do, its a bagel or a breakfast sandwich from a coffee shop on the way to work. When there's a family though, they tend to make breakfast for the kids before school, however.
Exactly this. I was going to comment something similar, but you've just said it already. Most of my breakfasts in the morning as a kid were cereal, toast or oatmeal, and juice. My Dad left for work early and my Mum was busy working from home, so my brother and I were responsible for our own breakfasts by a certain age. As we got older, those turned into granola bars or whatever was handy for running to catch the bus. Now though, as an adult, I make time for some tea, and just eat buttered toast and an orange most mornings. Pretty simple stuff, always. Nothing elaborate unless it's the weekend and I've got an hour.
Yessss, pancake days were like once a week if that in my house. We usually had oatmeal or cereal for breakfast with some fruit.
I actually eat like this most days. I didn’t know I was alone.
Ah, in the UK, not many people eat breakfast. But I always make time for it, cause I'm grouchy if I don't eat something and have low blood sugar. lol I mostly eat cereal... or cake. But if I'm feeling less lazy and make something, it's lots of sweet things, but usually quite filling and more hearty.
@@dallastexas5653 I like to eat a good, hearty breakfast if I can too. It makes things so much better. For me though, when it comes to full breakfast, it's usually fruit, waffles/pancakes and yoghurt, sometimes cake and biscuits too. I'm a crazy sweet tooth. But I would be very happy with extra crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, toast and sausage. The food in the video looked so good and had my mouth watering like crazy. Glad there's someone else here who likes to have a good breakfast! :D

Ah, our Canadian friends hooked you up. A lot of people in the US have some corn syrup imitation maple syrup, where 90% of it is high-fructose corn syrup, with a maple extract added to make it taste like you're getting the real thing. You haven't had pancakes for real until you've tried it with real maple syrup. My neighbors run a sap house, where they tap the surrounding maple trees, collect the sap, and boil it in batches to make real maple syrup. They give us some for free around the holidays.
Also, I'm not sure what the Korean potato pancake is like, but the way my family does it is we take some flour and diced onion, and mix it with leftover mashed potatoes. I wonder if the Korean potato pancake is the same. 🤔
I miss actual maple syrup after having moved south
It’s kind a crazy how I am Native American and her grandma looks just like my grandmother! I miss my grandma, and love taking her out for food and shopping.
Walle C Natives are Asiatic.
I’m native too and I was just about to say the same thing haha
Are you half asian or something?😊
@@brianrich7828 exactly, same ancestry.
You do know natives of America are Asian right? Learn your true history sis you will find your people are amazing!
Grandma just got herself American citizenship lmao

I'm a 51 year old, black woman from Georgia, but I would love to be adopted by your amazingly cool Grandma. ❤
@Tony Wilkins Thanks....pic is 2 years old, but it is me.
If that's a current picture, wow!
@Tony Wilkins Black people and Asian people dont age
"I'm going to eat it my way" Alright, from this day on, Grandma OK is American.
I don’t even eat breakfast, I get up way too early for that
the only reason i don't eat breakfast is cause i'm never hungry and if i do eat in the morning i always feel sick
i get up too late for breakfast and even if i get up early i eat until like lunch or dinner 🥴
@@eleven-hopper same
breakfast is horrible eww
🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
But I’m eat lunch and dinner normal time
@@eleven-hopper Do you drink coffee? It could be caffeine suppressing your appetite.
UA-cam Recommendations hit me with some wholesome cross-cultural generational content. Grandma is an honorary American just from using half the syrup bottle on the pancakes and the bacon pancake combo. A true food expert.
I eat "breakfast" just at weird times of the day. I eat four meals a day so I don't even know what to call my meals lol. It's like late breakfast, lunch number one, lunch number two/pre-dinner, then dinner lol
Freaking same 😂
Is like in Spain, we have breakfast, a little meal on late morning, a late lunch, a "merienda" at the evening and dinner at 21:00 or 21:30
I cant do that if I do that I will gain weight 😅😬 I'm jealous of u 😋
@@paitenceisthekey3572 but my meals arent like... Big meals 😂😂😂 i just simply eat until I'm full and no more than that. Theyre probably no more than 500 calories each, though I would guess usually less, and I also have a very active lifestyle. I understand the mentality you're coming from though. I dealt with eating disorders for years, and I constantly lived with this conscious fear of my food intake. It took me a while to get to a point where I viewed food as a good thing. I am in control. I use food to my benefit. I'm not trying to assume you have an eating disorder, not at all, I'm just saying because of my experience with mine, I get that fear you exhibit
@@dra2521 haha ya.😅 I eat 2 meals until I'm full and satisfied. But I don't go to bloated full Thankfully. I love food haha I always debate what to eat for the meals and it takes me time to decide haha
"I noticed many American breakfast meals have eggs."
Cause its the easiest to cook 😔 and you can't screw it up.
Um.....have you seen my mom's cooking? :(
@@vladt876 bro, , im so sorry you gotta deal with shitty eggs
Vlad T sorry :(
I know someone who only knows how to make eggs, makes them all the time, and ruins pans with the entire ordeal.
This comment reminded me of Gordon Ramsay asking a chef to cook an egg and the chef didn't do it right 😂🤦♀️
Bacon on pancakes?
American: 100
skip the bacon, PURE maple syrup on pancakes for Canadians. I said PURE ! not the fake garbage corn-syrup with artificial flavour. PURE maple syrup from a maple tree.

The Grandma is so cute after she ate some pancake, she’s like “take me to America” 🤣😂💜
I appreciate how you pointed out that most people don't actually eat this for breakfast every day, and compared it to special treat weekend breakfasts that you guys have with family 🥞 Having brunch with friends is really popular right now, and you GOTTA have a mimosa or bloody mary on the side 😉🥂
These videos are my favorite things right now. I love when Grandma OK really loves something and shakes her head back and forth
As a British man, I relate with this Korean woman about American breakfast. AHH! SHES SO CHARMING AND SWEET!
XxTwiztidxX697 I’ve visited your fair Isle, and British breakfast is great stuff. Except for the congealed blood and oatmeal thing, I skipped that. Bubble & squeak, yum! Beans on toast? Yes please! Marmite? Actually no thank you! Haha
She doesn’t look like she is that old. She looks far younger than 80.
That's very common for Asians :)
give her a year of american food and she look like Keith Richards
Because she doesn't eat our American breakfast!
@@iahelcathartesaura3887 I'd say she looks her age. She looks and acts like my Grandmother and she's nearing 98. Same humor too interestingly enough.
I'm sure most Koreans have mostly a fish diet , just not in the morning. Lol
I just love that your grandma is eating the pancake traditional American style w/ the bacon at the same time!! Bacon and syrup is the best ❤️
I was raised in the sixties, in the South, on a farm, so we had breakfast every morning. Biscuits and gravy. Bacon or sausage. Eggs scrambled or fried, and jelly or syrup. I still eat a full breakfast most mornings. My mom said breakfast was the most important meal of the day, to give your body energy to get going. On cold more she added oatmeal or cream of wheat or MaltOMeal. MaltOMeal with lots of melted butter and sprinkled with sugar!!!!
The delicious breakfast was one of my favourite things about growing up in the American South as a Korean. Even here in Korea I tend to buy all the things from the many stores catering to American soldiers. When you make it yourself, it’s delicious. And yes, I can’t get enough of MaltOMeal too!!!
You should have our grandma OK react to a classic English breakfast, that’s like a full meal in the morning 😂
Madeleine T-McGarty I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone have a full English actually for breakfast. They’re exclusively a “woke up hungover at noon” kind of food
@@madock345 My family has one on Sunday mornings, it's like tradition. But that's usually the only time we'd have one, too much food to eat one every day lmao
@@madock345 that's not correct but sure... You might do that but a lot of people actually eat a full english breakfast sometimes. I do it, my mom does it, the other person that answered to your comment also does it, her/his family does it and probably a lot most people from the UK does... I'm from Portugal and I know that we, porguese people, eat it a lot of times.
madock345 yeah I definitely don’t think many people have it every morning but I’ve had it many time for breakfast, mainly when you go to b&b’s and hotels but my dad used to cook it for us once a week normally on a weekend
@@madock345 How many people do you actually know though? I mean, I'm a born and bred Brit and we like to have a big breakfast as often as possible, unless we have a big lunch. lol
I absolutely loved that your grandma loves the “classic American breakfast.”’ One suggestion for your next one...get blueberry pancakes and French toast. Your taste buds will thank me!
Ooh. Add chocolate chips. Ever had a blueberry/chocolate chip pancake? Or French toast made with chocolate chip brioche? Your tastebuds will thank me. Your waistline, not so much...
Must have powdered sugar for the French toast !
Ps that would be a great idea to show grandma how to make French toast .. then she can have it everyday if she wants. We will send her all the syrup!
Absolutely adorable. I need a grandma. My grandma has been gone for so long. Tell ya what, we need to start a foreign exchange grandparent program so she can come stay for a while. I'll make her all the breakfast she wants. Did you know that we sometimes eat breakfast for dinner?! So very satisfying!
Your grand mother is so damned cute, happy, delightful, funny, adorable, quick witted !!! Thank you so much for sharing her with us !!!! You're so lucky to have her with you and share so much fun together !!! Stick closely together !!! Best wishes to all !!
Grandma knows the truth. "I'm old I'll eat whatever I want."
2:17 I love when Grandma OK goes "mmmm" she loves food as much as I do 😂
When she said “I like the scramble eggs better than the sunny side - up”
I felt that 😂
My eggs better be runny. That's where the flavor comes from.
@@mr.wizard2974 it's best when you eat the whites first then take the yolk in one bite, a nice shot of flavour right there.
