Punch through is one of those niche mechanics of warframe that is in a grey area of being both underpowered and stupidly broken... and I hope DE never changes it :]
I always regret rerolling it a little because it was a fantastic meme but I had a Ferrox riven that added like, 9 punch through I think it was? and with the secondary fire you'd just throw the damn thing right out of the map. This was before they made it come back immediately so you'd have to wait like 30 seconds for it to come back. But the idea of a tenno throwing their gun so hard it punched a hole straight through the side of anything was hysterical to me
Build is pretty much: Blind Rage Transient Fortitude OverExtended Steel Fiber Adaptation Stretch Continuity Wrecking Wall(for armor strip + 1 refresh) or Quick Thinking for more hp A fitting aura and 2 formas you will get enough cap for prime sure footed to compensate the loss of the 3rd skill. Arcane Battery and Energize. Have Fun.
Qorvex is one of my favorite frames, recently I realized how many silly things you can build him for Most recently? I didn't know I could have 8k armor on him.... My favorite tank frame
Yeah blast getting an AoE made snipers really strong specially the mentioned sporotrix with volatile variant But theres another sniper that while its status output is lesser it still obliterates, the perigale, just sit in a corner and never have to reload.
The downside of putting Shotgun Elementalist on Exergis is that is turns its magazine from 1 to 2 rounds Really ruins the feeling of "Single shot that packs a punch" But objectively, it performs better
I think there's something weird happening with Blast and Xata's Whisper, I've been seeing the on-death detonations trigger Xata hits for 8~10x the weapon's typical hit.
@@bluprint27 actually checking Dystopia, it looks like Blast double dips Elementalist mods, and then Xata takes the multiplier again for ~7x multiplier on the Xata component. It's finally time to bring it back... the Blast Lanka.
Are there any more guns that have cool synergy with xatas whisper? Like spins around in the void ball? So far the tetra, miter, and Layton Incarnon are my favourites. Paris Incarnon shot makes a death galaxy swirl lol. Anything that touches it gets evicerated
They don't split if there is an attractor bubble like magnetize or the void status effect or scourge throw, but they do split on every hit if you mod for punchthrough and shoot through a group of enemies.

I run the punch through mod on my kuva nukor instead of crit chance, it increases the number of chains.
Build is pretty much:
Blind Rage
Transient Fortitude
OverExtended
Steel Fiber
Adaptation

Continuity
Wrecking Wall(for armor strip + 1 refresh) or Quick Thinking for more hp
