I'm so ecstatic about the fact that they're continuing to use the Drifter's core themes -- learning to feel again, undying devotion and love, and not being satisfied with sacrifices and willing to try again and again to make a difference -- with this quest. Seeing Drifter pounding their fist and rewinding time left me utterly speechless when I first saw it. I've always felt like Digital Extremes had some trouble with truly following up on their story beats. After The War Within, the queens are hardly ever mentioned, and Umbra now rests in our arsenal as Just Another Warframe. That is, until Rebecca's new guard took the wheel. We've actually seen some continuity between stories and quests, which is such a delightful change that leaves me hungry for whatever DE is going to cook up next.
That scene gave me chills man. The bodies of the hex lying there, and then panning to the drifter still hanging onto life, then banging their fist onto the ground like they did all those quests ago, and the transition to the quest end screen and The Great Despair starting to play

It adds to the point I tried to make: the Entrati got revisited after Heart of Deimos, the Grineer Queen(s) in Lua's Prey, Umbra during Jade Shadows-- all of which fall under Rebecca's portfolio.
Man this quest was crazy but then when i saw my drifter punch the ground and the duviri song started to play, HOLY SHIT SHE DID THE THING, gotta be my first time in this game where i was speachless
Personal observations: It's amazing how much the Hex is similar to the Entrati family. Their world is being consumed by a rapidly evolving hive mind infestation, their bodies have been warpped and marred beyond their recognition and there's very clear tension between the six of them. AND YET, unlike the Entrati who dug in their heels, erected walls between one another and went off to sleep, the six of them stuck to the plan, even in recognition that it was a suicide mission that none of them were walking away from. Hell EVEN Quincy (this moment sold his character for me) who split away from the team still can't bring himself to abandon them and get them as close to their goal as he can. Unlike the Entratis, there is a clear possibility that they could be a team if they worked together. They were close to that in 1999 but it was already too late by then. Albrecht keeps putting on this air of doing things for the greater good, and he is right that Wally/the Indifference is a threat that is going to take some sacrifice. But his apathetic nature to everyone he uses, the Cavia, Loid, even the Hex, ironically makes him a prime target for Wally. He tells the Drifter the Hex died for his and their survival but we know that's not why they did so. He really is the Wagstaff of Warframe.
Well Albretch WAS one of seven golden "lords" after all, probably the nicest one but still part of the group. Being a type of 'indiferent' monster makes part of it, he atleast is concious about it, but still choose this course of actions.

The warframe was produced by the Tech-Rot, which is a special branch of the helminth strain of infestation, it probably ate a person to spit out that Excal, and then we used transference to start using it untill we got our arsenal back.
The highlight of the quest for me was realising that Viktor was voiced by FREAKING HEISENBERG from RE8. Seriously, how the hell did they manage to rope him into this game?
To be fair, depending on how bad the bugs were, if they didn't fix it we'd all be talking about the chair in a much different way. And no doubt same for the liches
2:30 the entire tank fight was a giant hell yeah moment. The music, fighting a tank with an ak, randomly getting rpgs to take it down, and then jumping on making it kill itself
I imagine it really sucks to be one of the unfortunate people who got spoiled by the bugged finale when realistically you only need to wait like, six to seven days.
When I finished the quest, about 2 hours after it I got the Hex conclusion quest, I was like "really?? I guess I don't have enough chemistry with them so I'll just wait more time" Thanks god I thought it had different endings depending on chemistry, otherwise I might've got spoiled xd

This quest was so stupid. Like it get Drifter has some connection to these characters through the time loop, but we as a player don't so to us there's no reason for us to try and save Hex instead of just letting Entrati nuke them to close the time loop. Also why is this little Swedish Town in the year 1999 so important? Like nothing was explained at all.

I think what happened was that a paradox got reality confused about which Excal drifter was in and pushed into the other causing this
