I've owned a 2011 Boxster S for years now and agree completely with your frustration regarding the lack of Bluetooth for audio and have yet to find simple, effective workaround. Some tips on the other drawbacks. Mine was spec'd from the factory with the Sport wheel option, a leather and aluminum design steering wheel which includes beautiful aluminum 'pull' action paddles. If you can source one for a reasonable price, I'm certain you could install the kit. A soft cooler in the front works perfectly for our picnics. Porsche dealer can re-program the car to not lock the doors - mine is set up that way. Coming from a 911, I feel the primary drawback of my car is no backseat - for easy access to coats, backpacks etc. The price to be paid for sublime mid engine handling I guess.
What you should like about the car: the cheap entry price to enter the Porsche club, the Boxster’s balance when you punt it through a corner, the reliable 9A1 engine, the pizza warmer in the back. What you shouldn’t like about the car: opening the bloody frunk to replace a flat battery, collecting a puncture when you have a can of expired goo instead of a spare wheel. Bluetooth? Isn’t the flat 6 on song music to your ears?

Secondly put your music on a flash drive and plug it into the center console to play your music. Best drivers car I've ever driven.

Try it on track,and if you turn the wheel or want to have fun with the car.you dont get it wrong if just one side is gear up or down. Doesnt matter that you got left or right. Because the paddle back is down and forward is up
The front trunk is no hotter than any traditional trunk in a front engine car. Get a cooler for it. And of course you don't want to put food in the rear trunk.

The B flat music is too loud... You are stretching for things not to like. This is the best little sports car you can find for the money. P.S. Put your Music on a flash drive and plug that in under the console lid. Listening to music by bluetooth is overrated. There is quality loss. Besides, open up the engine and enjoy the 6 pot soundtrack.

Hi Steve, you can buy an aux to Bluetooth adapter and connect your phone that way. Hope that helps.
