I so appreciate your messages! I “invited” you as one of the very few to my own private Church at Home Sunday School participants back when we were on lockdown. ;) and have listened ever since. Thank you for your faith. And faithfulness. I had someone who stopped coming years ago ask me if I felt more uplifted and in awe at sacrament meeting or at the ocean or forest. In my heart, I had to answer in nature - especially since meetings are often stressful with little people to quiet and keep entertained. I prayed and asked for understanding - and forgiveness actually. That Sunday, we sang the words to the sacrament hymn, “partaking now is deed for word, that I remember Him, My Lord”. That is the reason I attend Sacrament Meeting each week. It is an opportunity for me to show my commitment to Him - that I remember Him and claim Him as My Lord and Savior.
There's been a couple of times where after the Sacrament was over that the Bishop in one Ward and Stake and another Bishop in another Ward and Stake (by the Spirit), would have us all sing hymns for the entire service with no talks. People would get up to the pulpit and ask for a particular hymn to be played and we all sang it.
Thanks brother Petit ! I’ve always thought that it would have been no problem for Moroni to carry the plates from wherever he fought the last battle with his father to the hill in Palmyra NY.
