- Welcome back to Holiness to the Lord, a podcast type channel where I will discuss my thoughts as I study scriptures looking for Temple themes. General Conference is considered part of cannon/scripture, so here I take the 10 hours of talks and break it down into the ones that impacted me the most!

We can all become “change agents” for good, the strong link 🔗 in our familial lives ansmd covenants. Chains of addiction or false believes can bind us, but we can also break those change and choose to honor our family covenants as the strong link through Christ! 😇🙏

I am currently landing on Elder Wadell's talk on "Hero Worshipping". With the events of this year transpiring, celebrities (I'm mostly talking about black men like me) I once looked up to are starting to disgust me. It could be the words they said or the things they do. For example, a comedian I like once said on live television, or the internet, that he doesn't discipline his daughters, and got applauded for it, from an audience of mostly women. Me, I find it offensive because the seeds of pornography are planted. Yes, men like me have been corrupted by it but women, well girls, who are not disciplined I think create pornography for an easy dollar. Another instance is a hip hop artist hosting parties with nonstop immoralities so I am starting to have disdain for his clothing line. And one of my sports pundits once said the ladies will determine this year's election, as if men have no say. So, to make a long story short, look to God and live.

We know that it is by grace that we are saved after all that we can do.
Grace, grace, grace.... is no work required of us?
Doing his work is not to save ourselves, it is to serve others and bring others to Christ. Accepting the Atoning sacrifice of the Savior Jesus Christ does not relieve is of doing his will, it should motivate us and obligate us to do his will.
