    I had a horrible experience with this company. I bought the very expensive iPro device, which worked for about one month. I’ve been dealing with customer service ever since it stopped working. They refuse to accept returns, and the customer service rep, Jen Sandoval, literally hung up on me out of anger. Not worth two thousand dollars, that’s for sure!!

    Hi Nikki, thank you for this helpful video. I just got a Celluma and love the idea of using before getting out of bed in the morning, but how do we do that when our face still has products on it from the night before? I have a question about how to really fit celluma into my routine when I’ve also got skincare products, since celluma requires clean, bare, product-free skin? If you’re using it so many times a week, it means you’re not applying your skincare all those nights (since you fall asleep with celluma on)? Or if you’re doing it in the morning during your “snooze” period, then you have to get out of bed, wipe off your skincare from the night, get back into bed and put on celluma? How to I really balance alternating betw using skincare products and using celluma that is most convenient?

    • @skinbyckw2058
      @skinbyckw2058 2 роки тому

      sorry I just found this but as an Esthetician I would use it right after you cleanse I would especially do this at night when your winding down then apply the rest of your products I will say that the more you see the change in your skin the more you will stick with it. I do a cleanse and then I set it up in my bed just relax wind down and then finish my routine then bed I typically like to do it at night since that is when the skin repairs itself anyway. If you would like to know more follow my channel I talk more about skincare there.

    Nikki, I just found your youtube presentation on the Celluma Pro. I was already pretty sure I wanted to buy one after I had the opportunity to use it three times following facials. I was super excited about it primarily due to the very noticeable relaxation I felt while using it. All three times while I was using it, I nearly fell asleep which has never been the case after a facial. I will soon be having a total knee replacement and look forward to using this device to help me heal. Your genuinely enthusiastic review of the Pro model cemented my decision to purchase one. This is strictly based on my personal experience. I have been using it for about one year. Usually 3-4 times a week on my face alternating between acne and wrinkle mode. I have noticed somewhat of a difference with acne but not much on pigmentation. I think genetics plays a big part on how our skin looks. The healing mode does help a lot for pain and with healing. I have used in on my back, foot, arm, and neck. The wrinkle setting also helps with fading scars. Hopes this helps.

    LED is so effective that it replaces the need for filler and Botox more than enough to escape the homelessness inspiring expense of fillers. I developed a terrible sensitivity to fillers and Botox, (Emergency Room time for 5 of the times I've done it. 2x for Botox and 3 times for filler both with numbing and without so it's not the numbing cream as it was internal hormone damage.) so I had to find an alternative. LED has made my face like the moon, it's so full and beautiful. I bought my wand for $250 and it's built to last a lifetime. Filler and Botox is $1600.00 every 8 - 12 months. I'm 46 and no longer ever need to touch another needle.

    I purchased the Celluma Lite after watching your last video about a year ago. I love it! I use it so much for chronic neck pain that I rarely use it on my face since it's always on my neck and upper back. I guess I need to order another one! 🤷‍♀️😀 I fall asleep with a treatment going and it's the first thing I do when I wake up. Just hit the control because I already have it on from the night before. I just sleep with it under my shirt. I don't move when I sleep, thankfully. I have used it on my face, especially if I have a break out or an event coming up like my class reunion last weekend. I can definitely tell a difference when I use it. I was more consistent using it on my face when I first got it, but like you, I enjoy a treatment before falling asleep. My husband wasn't a fan of that since he could see the light. 😂 I have ADHD, so I struggle to do a face treatment without having anything to do or watch unless I'm sleepy. I can listen to a podcast and make it through at times if the podcast is intriguing. Listening to rain apps can help also depending on my mood. Coming across this video has inspired me to make it a habit to use it regularly on my face. I just love it for pain so much, is hard to share the time with my skin. 😂 It's the only thing that seems to help my neck at times, so people with chronic pain should definitely try it. Thank you for doing a follow up video and for recommending this lifesaver in the first place. Your skin is flawless!

    I bought a near infrared light bulb. I mounted the lamp above my desk so that it is pointing down toward my head. My reason for getting one was to combat hair loss and also acquire faster hair growth after I micro-needle my scalp. Consistent micro-needling for 1 year and 1/2 has worked very, very well, but only if you stay consistent. Which, I have managed to do and still continue to use this method. Adding red light therapy on my scalp in combination with the micro-needling has produced even more results. Since my office is at home, I just leave the light on me for 12 hours while I work each day. On another note, I just reached my 30s and noticed slight wrinkling in an area near my eyes. I noticed since using the red light bulb on my scalp, that during this time, those slight wrinkles around the area of my eyes are completely gone. In effect, it is like I am getting a two for one deal. The heat aspect of the bulb feels great as well.

    Thank you for another great video about LED! After watching your first video, I wanted the Celluma so much. I also wanted something to help with my rosacea, and Celluma doesn’t offer the amber LED lights for rosacea, so I had to look for other options. I ended up purchasing this one that is very similar from amazon. It has the same flexible panel, more lights, and it has red, blue, amber, and infrared lights. And it’s $279!! I purchased it last December after watching your first video, and I am so impressed with my light! It’s by far the best purchase I’ve made for pain relief and/or skincare EVER. If anyone is looking for a comparable alternative that is super affordable and very high quality, I really recommend the hydraskincare one. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews or recommendations, but I can’t help it for this one. I’m hooked on it as much as you’re hooked on the Celluma. Super happy with it! BTW, I’m not an affiliate, I just want to share this so that people who need it for rosacea or who can’t afford the Celluma can still get a high quality light. This has almost twice as many lights as the Celluma also, so another plus.
    Pro tip: use Green Tea in some form (toner, water based serum that is mostly green tea extract, something along those lines) about 20 minutes before going under the lamp and it has been proven to drastically speed up the results of LED. Personally I use the Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner.

      Don’t. The CurrentBody is stronger than Celluna. How intense the treatment is, is measured by mW/cm2. This means, how much red light does a square centimeter get with one treatment. The currentbody has 30 mW/cm2 while Celluma has 6.5 mW/cm2. That is why one treatment with Celluma takes 30 min while one treatment with Currentbody takes 10 min. The strongest led devices out there, if that is what you want, is Dennis gross Spectralite (60 mW/cm2) and Lightstim (65 mw/cm2) which is why the treatment time is 3 min. I know this because I recently made this mistake. Here is a link to the FDA approval for Celluma: www.accessdata.fda.gov/cdrh_docs/pdf17/K171323.pdf

It’s something you pretty much have to be dedicated to doing on a regular basis and you do have to set time to just sit under it for 20-30 min. Was it the wrinkles or the pain setting? I'm also curious, if you fall asleep with it, does that mean you don't sleep with any skin care products? I use my Celluma before my other routine since I like to use my products morning, night, and really throughout the day.
    I'm in my 50's and people fall over when I tell them that. I also hear, "You are glowing." a lot. I use the wrinkles setting for my face and the pain setting for my back and shoulder.
