Great video, thank you :) What would you say if for example woman is a Leo lagna, or has an otherwise strong Sun, but Sun is at the same time DK? p.s. the answer to your question - when Sun is prominent in your chart you always have to pretend you are waaay less than you really are, if you want a relationship, so yes - you do get parts of you chopped off in a way, like in the story. It is difficult and unfulfilling for Sun types, especially women.
The Sun in a way serves the Moon. The Moon, per Jyotish Astrology and rightly so, is by far the most important planet (light actually) because the Moon is emotional security and a human being is nothing but a bag of emotions. Whether we show those emotions easily or not depends on other placements in the birth chart. The sense of purpose, the drive and ego - everything attributed to the Sun is all to serve inner emotional Security = the Moon.
