Needs a buff. Having both an open bolt delay AND a low ttk you would assume that it has a good recoil pattern but it doesn't. Maybe it's good in hardcore but you'd have to assume it's near the bottom of the barrel in standard modes.

I think that the slower the fire rate, and there are more time for the recoil to recenter for better overall recoil. The conversion kit just gets the higher recoil number corresponding to the original recoil setting, as the original version has higher fire rate and less time for recentering the recoil, while the converted version becomes more controllable because of the extra time for recentering from the slower fire rate.

The bolt delay really holds this gun back from being top tier. That being said there are quite a few variations of builds now that turn it into a laser it is possible to almost completely negate the initial recoil. @@Ironcoremagma I'd be all for a COD game that has the production values and gunplay of MW19 that retains COD staples like 3 lane maps, balanced footstep audio, traditional minimap, etc. It just seems like whenever realism enters the picture for the devs, it usually displaces a lot of the arcadeyness.
I didn’t mind the gun at all. I didn’t know there even was an ‘open bolt delay’, and plus, it really felt like the MW 2019 Uzi, just to recall being a little bit more then that one. But overall, I enjoyed it
That's it! I have had it with this game. COD MW3 is a waste of my time and effort! I have been gaming since the beginning and this is, without a doubt my worst experience. First, there is no balance at all. Yesterday every game except one was a complete animation of the losers (I was on both sides). When you have scores like 200 to 63 and worse time after time it is simply no fun, and I only play for the enjoyment. When I am grinding out a gun, I normally take it to the "practice" arena and test it out especially if there are different builds and I like to test them all. Can't do that anymore - unless I am doing something incorrectly? The only options are set guns and that is it. What is with these people, do they not understand anything about their "target audience". I spent my whole career in marketing and can tell you if one of my managers was too out of touch with his/her "customers" he/she would be sitting out at the curb looking in his lunch box wondering what went wrong and why he/she didn't have a job. The developers have totally lost it with this game which should have been released as an add-on, not a complete game. Well with that said, it is my humble opinion. I am so sorry it has come to this!
When leveling this weapon without reading anything about it i had no clue about the first bullet delay. I was losing my mind!! I just thought something was wrong on my end.. I reset my pc, my internet/router, used both controller + MNK and eventually just came to the conclusion that over night everyone had the reflex's of a god and I'm just slow and cant get the first shot off. 29 levels later and now i just find out that there is a delay... JFC 😂😂😂😂
I think it provides an interesting method of balancing guns but there should be other benefits that offset the downside that comes with an open bolt delay so there's a bit of give and take and we don't really see that with the WSP-9.
I kinda agree I think the better way would be no open bolt delay for cod guns at least , that being said I find it very cool and interesting and feel their ttks, sprint out times, ads times should be increased to offset the ttk nerf of the open bolt. I think the open bolt design is super cool from a gun guy perspective, but that being said, I actively avoid most of the open bolt guns in the game because it just “feels” worse to use because of the delay.
@alexmaurice4274 agreed. I think you made a great point about the subjective feel. They should keep it for immersion, uniqueness etc. A 50+ ms slower time to even begin shooting especially for an SMG. The M91 in mw2019 had a 120+ms delay, which was insane because it would've been a top-tier lmg otherwise. They should lean into it if they insist on keeping it. List it in the gun's description/advanced stats and balance accordingly. Could be interesting if done right.
This weapon always manages to piss me off since MW2019. I would see pure sickos running around with the ammo conversion and just ripping opponents apart, yet whenever I used it, I couldn't get to grips with the painfully slow rate of fire. It just felt inconsistent... I'd much rather use the Swarm than the WSP-9 in MW3, maybe I come across like a right noob.... 🤣🤣🤣 Then again, I always used the UMP in MW3 2011 rather than the MP7 and PP90M1. It suited me more as I challenged longer ranges better with it after the buff
They REALLY needs to buff this gun. Almost everything about it is "less" than any other SMG or other gun. Why give it really bad hip fire when it has such a slow ROF and open bolt 55ms delay? The sprintout time is not 88ms it's 88ms+ 55ms. The accuracy isn't great. I mean where is the redeeming quality? Usually with slow ROF the gun is very accurate. And hits hard in damage etc.
One of those “I can’t explain why it feels good to me but it does so I use it” guns

Please help!!! 🥺 affect 25 enemies with the stormender EMP challenge is not working 🤷🏼♂️ can anybody help me with this.
Shluld be a 3 shot kill with 1 headshot instead of 2 and itd be a lot better, and the 45 version can 2 tap with both headshots at close range
I didn’t mind the gun at all. I didn’t know there even was an ‘open bolt delay’, and plus, it really felt like the MW 2019 Uzi, just to recall being a little bit more then that one.
But overall, I enjoyed it
Once again we have another gun with bad stats but guys this gun is a MONSTER if you build it right! It just feels good
Looking forward to more lines of sight videos. This community is braindead for not watching those
Meta guns should catalyze between mouse/controller player, some are very different for control recoil.
It looks terrible on paper but for some reason I love this gun and I have most success with it 🤣
It’s the consistency of the gun that makes it feel like butter at times
@@jeremiahtaylor1817 yes it’s satisfying to use
I wish this gun was better, it needs that open bolt delay completely removed to make it viable.
Interesting how the testing came up this way, cause I’ve only experienced good things when using it. Definitely feels better than it looks on paper
JFC 😂😂😂😂
Sledgehammer doesn't know how to balance weapons. This weapon was well-balanced in MW19.
Slow TTk, open bolt delay, slow ads, slow movement…why does this exist again?
I’m personally partial to it because I dropped my only nuke in Mw3 with it so that’s the only reason I love it!!
Wonder if a sprint-to-kill time would be helpful
You should be comparing this with ARs
It’s wild that he did the Bas-P but not the Sidewinder. Legit proof that the gun is just poo poo stinky.
All sub machine guns need a better buff
Notification squad
We out here
*WHY* must we still have open-bolt delays on guns for God's sake... just make it audio only JFC.
I think it provides an interesting method of balancing guns but there should be other benefits that offset the downside that comes with an open bolt delay so there's a bit of give and take and we don't really see that with the WSP-9.
@@TheXclusiveAce if honestly much rather them just balance the gun in more.. normal way, rather than randomly adding a pause and massive ttk nerf
The fire rate is way too slow
This weapon always manages to piss me off since MW2019. I would see pure sickos running around with the ammo conversion and just ripping opponents apart, yet whenever I used it, I couldn't get to grips with the painfully slow rate of fire. It just felt inconsistent...
I'd much rather use the Swarm than the WSP-9 in MW3, maybe I come across like a right noob.... 🤣🤣🤣
Then again, I always used the UMP in MW3 2011 rather than the MP7 and PP90M1. It suited me more as I challenged longer ranges better with it after the buff
Good in hardcore
Open bolt delay. Next.....
Being limited to 22 rounds is too much.of a downside, let me use a larger magazine.
The ump45 is just better than the uzi. Why did they do thsi to this gun?
WSP-9 is based on the Uzi
