Welcome to day 27 in my video series for #GelyPostcardPlay hosted by ‪@CeriGriffiths‬ . This fun "challenge" involves posting a 4 x 6" postcard a day that includes at least one element of gel printing and also includes a number to indicate the date the card is posted. For today's postcard I took inspiration from ‪@RobynMcClendon‬ and her book (link below) to use a very wet watercolour effect on the gelplate. I used watered down acrylic paint, Paper Artsy "Infusions" powders, Lindy's Gang "Magical" powders and Gold Acrylic Ink. I then created an abstract landscape adding details with Black Bombay India ink.

I dont have any of these things to try this, other than acrylics. BUT this makes me want to experiment with other things!!!!!!

Something scientifically interesting happens. If you spray the backside of the paper with a water mist, the paper flattens. Try it out - it works! Loved your video. ❤

I did spray the backside with water while using heat gun on both sides, it just needs a bit more time to dry fully. Or should I let it dry naturally? I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching Vicky!
