About Me:
Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my happy place on here. I make videos about my day to day life, family travel or day trips, motherhood, plus size fashion and exciting work projects. Occasionally I have special guests too - friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 12 and Pearl, 5.
Outside of my online life I love crafts & small DIY, all things Disney, programmes about bygone eras, shopping for lovely clothes that make me feel amazing and being at home with my fiance and children.
I've written 6 books so far (stocked in Waterstones, WHSmith, Amazon and all good supermarkets) and can't wait to start book 7!
We are currently planning our wedding, set for 2025 and I can't wait to start sharing bits of that with you!

Love authentic vlogs. In the judgy two dimensional curated world of the internet, they are a breath of fresh air! Stop questioning what you say, and Trust that you are a good egg. Also, finding a good parking space is a known phenomenon of synchronicity with a higher power of connection to something bigger. Don't discount it. It's entry-level for a lot of understanding of what consciousness is.

Gosh. It’s been a hard few weeks and this type of vlog is genuinely like chicken soup for my soul. I feel like I’ve just hung out at my besties house. Please never change. You’re such a gem.
You are such fun to watch - real life stuff and very important questions … I asked a maple syrup farmer person about the handle thing when we were in New England - old time crock pots / jars used to be what you got syrup in and they had the handles - so it’s just a throw back to that! 🍁. Also, swollen feet - put ‘em up!!

For the foot swelling- I use compression socks if I'm getting puffy. They sound worse than they are- they feel like a hug for my legs and they make some cute ones for those of us with thicker calves 😊

Love that we had a mini laundry segment (ironing the belt). I enjoy these kinds of videos spaced over a few days. What would I like to see? More of the same and I also love when you go to little independent shops and show us their wares 😊

I have a question (non judgey, genuine q) - you always seem to be so put together and look fabulous - if you weren’t on camera, or even days when you’re not on camera, do you still ‘dress up’, accessorise and do your make up?
Definitely at the age where I feel like I should make more of an effort 🤣 the big 3 0 is fast approaching and I’m still rocking ‘mum bun and leggings’ like my kids (3&7y) were born yesterday 🤣 xx

Hank Green made a TikTok about the tiny handle on maple syrup. It’s because maple syrup jugs used to be huge, like a gallon of syrup. And so when we started selling them in small containers the little handle just stayed on it for tradition’s sake even though it became not functional at all.
A lovely honest vlog, just as I like them 🙂 Pearl would have loved the little dolls my daughter had - quints, everything came in 5’s. About the same time as Polly pockets as my daughter is nearly 30 now

Only just caught up, you looked beautiful for the NTA's! My feet swelled up once when I went to London and did a lot of walking and standing around for a weekend, it scared me so much, but it was gone the following morning. I found it was salty food and lack of water that did it, so def up your water if you're trying to prevent it happening.
The eye test was SO funny, " is it red, or is it green" "they're both slanty just in opposite directions". "hmmm, you need to pick one!" then my eyes start watering because I'm anxious and now everything is slanty and blurry! ARGHH :'D
Hiya Louise quick tip for you for cleaning makeup brushes i highly recommend using Johnson's Baby shampoo xx

Personally, drinking a lot of water and also taking an Epsom salt bath (or foot soak) helps with my swollen ankles/feet. Water helps especially on hot days (it gets 90s here in Ohio during the summer) and I notice my feet swell more on hot days.

Everytime I go to the optician dentist etc now as a 41 year old I immediately think they're going to tell me something awful. Like life destroying. I think it's because I've got kids now and when I was single it didn't matter 😂. Dark but my brain is quite a negative anxious mess sometimes. Joy!

I loved watching you on the red carpet, tossing your dress, pink really is such a good color on you. You just glow. And I love Estée Lauder perfume. My signature perfume has been Estée Lauder Knowing for at least the last 20-25 years. It’s one of those that when you where it, people constantly tell you how good you smell or ask what you’re wearing. I’ve even had male co-workers have me write the name down for them so they could buy it for their wives. Darcy and Pearl are growing up so fast. Too fast. And my mom loved Opals, so everything that my stepdad bought for her was usually Opal jewelry. It really struck me that your mom’s ring was opals. Those things are so special. Enjoy wearing it.
