- Using this club cadet ZTS 2 with a 50 inch deck for the first time on this property. I had used a Husqvarna MZ 54 on this property last year and in comparing this Club Cadet with the steering system, to a Husqvarna zero turn, I would have this Club Cadet any day over any zero turn turn that doesn’t have the steering system. I know Club Cadet is the only one who can make this type of mower. But if I was to ever buy a zero turn mower, I would buy this type of one that I just used.
Nice Job Brother 🙌🥰

Nice video David. We bought a 2021 Cub PRO 560 KW S last year - it's a beast. The steering wheel system on the zero turns is the way to go if you mow slopes - period. Our cemetery association is looking into getting a couple of these mowers.
Thanks! Yea I agree with mowing slopes it’s the best mower period in my opinion.
Thanks for the video. I was wondering how well these mowers work. Seems like they are worth the money
Oh yea they are worth the money and very safe to use
Where these Cub Cadet steering wheel ZT's have an advantage is the steering capability up front works in synchronization with the rear hydrostatic trannies. On the handle ZT mowers the front tires are essentially nothing more than the freewheeling castors on an office chair that provide zero control over the direction the mower will travel on slopes. Put simply with the steering capabilities of the front steering wheel you have 4 wheel steering instead of just 2 wheel steering.
I have seen videos where they show the deck moving all over if you step on it. How is the cut when you look at it up close? It looks really good on this video.
In my opinion, the grass looks better than a 54 inch deck cut. My Cub Cadet is a 50 inch cut and the yards I mow I can tell a difference in the appearance of the cut.
I have about an acre tomorrow at my house and I have two hills that are probably 20 feet in length but they are at a very steep incline right now I have to mow it with my front engine mower driving up backing down driving up backing down how will one of these rear engine mowers do on that slope or will they not work well on that slope? Never had one never drove one but it’s time to buy a new tractor my craftsman is 25 years old looking for a new one
After using mine for over a year now, I wouldn’t be afraid to take it up a steep slope myself. Not sure how steep your hill is, but I mow hills every week. Have not had a problem yet

David, nice vid. Tell me, did you measure the slope angle? If so, what is it? I have a fairly steep slope 14-19 degrees in spots. My Cub with steering wheel handles most of it pretty well.It could probably cut it all
I do have a app on my phone to measure the slope. I will do that maybe this Saturday and make a comment of it. Thanks for the compliment
I measured the slope using the app on my iPhone, and it measured at 25 degrees. I also uploaded another video of me doing circles on that very slope.
You were overlapping a lot if you are trying to strike they do look good put your front tires on the inside of the stripe
Have you had any problems with mower yet?
No. I have 50 hours on it and it is doing great!
