Im from Cleveland, we are the highest crimed big city in Ohio. We are also the lowest cost of living big city in Ohio. Columbus is the nisest of the big 3 but its still got its bad parts, Cincinnati is in the middle. Cleveland is more comparable to Detroit than Columbus or Cincinnati.
The crime rate is skewed because of East Cleveland. The metro area of Cleveland has some of the safest and most beautiful communities in the nation. ie Gates Mills, Pepper Pike, Rocky River, Bay Village, Hunting Valley. Cleveland has so much more to offer than Columbus or Cinci. Lake Erie, Metro parks, Cuyahoga National park, World class theater, museums, orchestra, and health care. Lake Erie alone is enough to put it on the top spot to live in Ohio..
i lived in all 3 cities Cleveland is wild but Columbus has the worst crime Cincinnati and Columbus is kneck to kneck on homicide. Cleveland is layed back compared to the two you'll have to look for the crime to get caught up in it that's a good thing.
@@tima4929also the fact that we have (3) major sports teams that draws crowds to downtown Cleveland. Columbus’s sport excitement is just OSU whereas Cincy has only (2) major sports teams.

There no way to convince a person until they've experience all the cities. Cleveland has the metroparks. Lake Erie, Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Clinic, Playhouse district, which is second to New york Broadway. Three major sports teams. And so much more. But the decision is yours to make.
Pretty good overview, and interesting housing price information. I'd add that for the outdoors, Cleveland and Akron have Cuyahoga Valley National Park nearby, and Columbus is the closest of the big cities to southeast Ohio and the Hocking Hills, often considered the most scenic part of Ohio. Someone driving from Detroit to Cincinnati might conclude Ohio is all farms outside of the big cities, but as you go farther southeast you find more forests.
I currently live in a Cleveland, Ohio suburb around 30 minutes towards the southeast. It's a great area if you like suburban lifestyle, bigger houses and bigger patios. Also, not far from the city to hangout. I have visited Columbus and Cincinatti to have a good time as well.
I live in the Cleveland Metro Area, Plan on moving to either Texas or Arizona, Ohio is ok but there’s nothing really to do here and the sky is always grey and depressing . Lots of places I grew up with either went out of business or relocated somewhere else. Plus the weather sucks. Ohio will always be near and Dear to me but After Graduating from college in 1 year can’t wait to start a new chapter.
I personally love Frisco in Texas. There is so much new stuff that has been developed there over the last decade. Peoria is kind of far out in Phoenix too. If you’re looking to buy I would tell you that Frisco and Plano, in Collin County,TX) has really high property taxes. Probably 3x more than Phoenix metro’s typical rate. What makes you interested in Peoria, in particular?
Moved to Columbus last year from DC and love it. I like the middle ground it has between Cleveland and Cincinnati. I live North of the city in Delaware which has great schools. I'm left leaning and Columbus city is as well. There are a lot of IT jobs coming into the state of the Intel plant, and data centers (Microsoft and Meta). It's a lot cheaper than DC. Downside are the property taxes are a bit high.
Cincinnati is by far your best bet. Columbus is nice, but it's become way overbuilt and way overpriced. I've lived in both cities and I enjoy the amenities and scenery that Cincinnati has to offer. Not only is there plenty to do in that city, but you are also within a 2-hour drive of Indianapolis, both major cities in Kentucky, Dayton, and Columbus. As for Cleveland...... I would seriously look at Youngstown before I ever considered moving there. I like visiting, and the people in Cleveland are really cool. But it's just not for me.
Hey, thanks for sharing! I love getting perspective from locals. I agree that proximity to other places adds a lot of value too. What amenities do you like that Cincinnati has to offer?
Yup Ohio is a decent state. And I agree with Maya, but wasn't always like that. I'm an ex-NY'er. Many locals hated me. Wasn't until 2022 that people started coming around. And I too have certain bias indoctrination, as being from NY were taught people with a southern accent are white supremacist... turns out the truth is the opposite. I still view locals as hillbillies but they're alright in my book.
Liked all 3 cities. Lived in Columbus 5 years. Visited Cincinnati abunch a couple years ago and visited Cleveland alot last year and this year. I actually like all 3 cities...But surprisingly Columbus seemed to have the least amount of stuff to do or just less energy than the other 2 cities. I think the biggest difference is Columbus has no pro sports teams outside Hockey and Soccer. Two sports that are probably the least popular of the major pro sports in America. Both Cleveland and Cincinnati have Pro Football, Baseball & Cleveland has Basketball also. I lived in Columbus 5 years and the city is relatively boring compared to the other 2 imo. I think Cincinnati has the highest cost of living of the 3 tho. As far as how much fun I had or how much I enjoyed the cities it is kind of a tie between Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Well we have our professional sports teams cavaliers, browns, and Guardians we have the Cleveland Orchestra one of the biggest orchestras in the USA and we we have lots of beaches by Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with Brandywine Falls with the largest water fall in ohio, James A Garfield and John D Rocketfeller lived in or by Cleveland we have the Cleveland museum of art the rock and roll hall of fame, Great Lakes science center we have about 4 places to ski and snowboard Alpine, Brandywine, Boston Mills, and a place in Painsville, we do have the Christmas story house, the West side market, largest candy store and the great hospitals Cleveland Clinic, and University Hospitals, like Cleveland clinic I believe is the 2nd best hospital in the world. Also we have the greater Cleveland aquarium and lots of great suburbs. And almost forgot we have the Cleveland metro parks zoo and lots of metro parks
Wow! Thanks for sharing! When I visited family in Wisconsin and saw just how massive the Great Lakes are it gave me such an appreciation for them. I can imagine the beach there is a bit chilly. I do have to say, I think Cleveland sports fans have to be some of the best in the country. Not a lot of success in general and they still show up. What advice would you share with someone who is interested in moving to Cleveland?
Get a a lot of snow if you’re on the east side where I am you’re basically in the snowbelt and then roads may get a little tricky, but overall I’m sure everyone will have alot of fun but in the last 2 years we’ve had a pretty mild winter and I believe this winter is going to be mild too, and our sports have done a lot better then last yesr

I would definitely consider Columbus because I have a Favorite WWE Wrestler that came from Columbus. I hope you're familiar with the name Alexis Kaufman AkA Alexa Bliss. She actually came from a couple of Suburbs of Columbus (Grove City & Hilliard)
Cbus hands down the best of the 3. I moved from another state around 22 years ago, best move ever made. Despite what people say there is not much to do, that is totally false lol. Summertime brings out huge festivals here of ethnic groups like Irish, Italian, Latino, etc. Brings in huge conventions, the biggest by far being the Arnold Sports Expo, brings in people from all over the world. Out of all places Arnold Schwarzenegger chose Columbus. Besides the Bluejackets, Crew and OSU sports, we also bring in the PGA Memorial Tournament in Dublin and new Columbus Fury pro volleyball. Don't forget our suburbs, they bring in so many festivals, events like in Dublin, Hilliard, Grove City, Upper Arlington, New Albany, Worthington, Westerville. We have large HQs here like Nationwide, Big Lots, Wendys, Rogue Fitness, Limited Brands, etc. We have won numerous awards, our Zoo is amazing, living in the urbs is very safe, school system is excellent, our hospitals are outstanding, I can go on all day!
Born and raised in Cleveland… had no problem with it, except for the snow; of course it depends on which area you live. Moved to Houston, stayed for almost six years, but had enough of the high rent, roaches, and the congestion of people and traffic. Came back to Ohio, but relocated to Columbus. I love the area in which I live (suburb). I can see myself staying here, but the housing prices are getting ridiculous. Everyone keeps touting that Intel is coming here… I believe that is why the housing market is skyrocketing. Not sure where I will ultimately reside, but where it is has to be fairly nice and affordable. I will say, I miss Houston’s weather.
Um. See where I come from. I come from the South. I'm very deep into the country stuff. I practically grew up around country Music in my family, And also I sometimes get the Pop-Rock vibe of the city
Moving from South Carolina to Cleveland, Ohio was the best decision ever. Super cheap rent and easy toget a job i habe 3 😂😂😂😂 South Carolina rent is out of control
Don’t move to Cincinnati unless you have money. The cost of living isn’t that high, but everything decent costs a fortune. The city is separated by strict economic barriers. It’s also quite racist.
@BrothaontheGo I've always lived in the suburbs and out in the country. There's a lot to do no matter where you live in the area. Hella culture. 2 slightly but not much better sports teams than Cleveland. Lots of nature. It was just the perfect place to grow up.
1) That’s what my friend said too. He lived in the country outside of town and enjoyed it. 2) I see you’re throwing some friendly shade at Cleveland lol. Thanks for sharing!
I think cincy is the best one out of the big 3.. best looking downtown and most vibrant downtown as well with the nightlife.. columbus is a nice city thats growing but can be boring and cleveland is grimy with no life.. just a cold city with lots of crime.. the crime in cincy is bad too ngl

I was born and raised in Cleveland. I don't even know what to say. Ohio is segregated. Depending on your race, you'll do fine in most rural areas. If you are African American, you wanna stick to any of its suburbs if you want a nice place to live. There are sundown towns that you definitely want to avoid.

Stay out of Cincinnati. We are full. We have too many people from California, New York and Chicago moving here. We don’t need any more people and tell your friends.
I thought Cincinnati’s population is steady while the out of state people are moving to popular states like Texas, Florida, North and South Carolinas, Georgia, Utah, Idaho, etc.

Columbus isn't all that impressive. I'd say Cleveland would be the best choice of the 3. They have the rock and roll hall of fame, 3 major sport teams, and the Pro Football hall of fame isn't that far from the city. Cincinnati has king's island and the Cincinnati Zoo along with 2 major sport teams. So Columbus is the obvious one out.

Um. See where I come from. I come from the South. I'm very deep into the country stuff. I practically grew up around country Music in my family, And also I sometimes get the Pop-Rock vibe of the city
CINCINNATI OHIO FOR THE WIN. 🏆
Team Cincinnati!!! Ok, what’s your favorite part of Cincinnati?
@@BrothaontheGo I love how Cincinnati has the midwestern and southern mix here. 💯
Ah, that’s interesting! I could see that. Here’s the question for you… Are you rooting for the Browns to go all the way or not?
@RudolphManor is Cincinnati a great city to live ? I hear that downtown is colorful as well . I'm relocating to Cincinnati in the Spring time.
@@mentenash7516nice! Tons of things to do downtown!
I heard LeBron James was popular in Ohio and Kentucky when he played for the Cavaliers
I would love to become a Buckeye
Moving from South Carolina to Cleveland, Ohio was the best decision ever. Super cheap rent and easy toget a job i habe 3 😂😂😂😂 South Carolina rent is out of control
Don’t move to Cincinnati unless you have money. The cost of living isn’t that high, but everything decent costs a fortune. The city is separated by strict economic barriers. It’s also quite racist.
Being biased, i say try Cincinnati.
Nice! One of my close friends is from Cincinnati area and he loved growing up there. Do you recommend people live in the city or outside of town?
@BrothaontheGo I've always lived in the suburbs and out in the country. There's a lot to do no matter where you live in the area. Hella culture. 2 slightly but not much better sports teams than Cleveland. Lots of nature. It was just the perfect place to grow up.
1) That’s what my friend said too. He lived in the country outside of town and enjoyed it. 2) I see you’re throwing some friendly shade at Cleveland lol. Thanks for sharing!
@@BrothaontheGo anytime 😊
I think cincy is the best one out of the big 3.. best looking downtown and most vibrant downtown as well with the nightlife.. columbus is a nice city thats growing but can be boring and cleveland is grimy with no life.. just a cold city with lots of crime.. the crime in cincy is bad too ngl
latest statistics show Cleveland has the 2nd most densely populated downtown in the entire Midwest, so your "no life" is very ironic.
Will be there to pursue my masters from case western reserve university any reviews/opinions would be really helpful
❤❤❤OHIO
Move to Centerville, Ohio
How about Wooster, Ohio???
Ohio’s a great state to live in. Born and raised in Dayton. I’d avoid Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincy. Too much going on 🤪
i be all over Ohio and Dayton has the highest crime rate in the state y'all took the cake 😮
chicago is where you need to go!
Lol, I absolutely love Chicago! It’s been years, but it’s one of my favorite places I have ever visited. I don’t think I could live there though. Are you from Chicago?
Yuck. Way too expensive and the Chicago traffic is maybe the worst in the nation.
Where to live Ohio vs Georgia? Which is better.
Oh, that is a good question! What part of Ohio vs what part of Georgia?
Athens, savannah vs Cincinnati, Columbus
@@LETSTALKYOUWITHMEI personally live in Cincinnati, and it has a lot to offer, like things to do, a major university, and three pro sports teams
@@LETSTALKYOUWITHMEGA doesn't have public transportation its basically wilderness if thats what you like then Cincinnati will give you that without being home sick... Columbus is similar to Charlotte but a micro version very corporate
I live in Akron and it's garbage however it's suburbs are PERFECT
i lived in Columbus Cincinnati and Cleveland and Akron and Canton is a relief compared to those other cities. the post office, the BMV, the public library, grocery store all these things are so much easier to accomplish going to the barbershop...only thing u have to do in akron is enjoy yourself and dont worry about being bored you can find parks or visit Cleveland but for the most part if your a homebody none of that othet stuff matters
lol just stepped on Cleveland the last half of the video
Hey thanks for watching! Do you mean I was too hard on Cleveland? If so, what would you like people to know about Cleveland?
I was born and raised in Cleveland. I don't even know what to say. Ohio is segregated. Depending on your race, you'll do fine in most rural areas. If you are African American, you wanna stick to any of its suburbs if you want a nice place to live. There are sundown towns that you definitely want to avoid.
What are the sundown towns?
HELLO GUYS I AM GOING TO MOVE TO OHIO VERY SOON …PLEASE PLEASE I REQUEST YOU TO GIVE ME A GENIUNE AND HONEST ADVICE WHERE TO LIVE IN “COLUMBUS, CLEVELAND, COCINNATI, DUBLIN ???

Yep too many white people in the Midwest and I’m white and from here
Inshallah I hope to come to Columbus Ohio
pass
Lol 😂😂😂. Hey, it’s not the place for me either… too many Buckeye fans. Are you from Ohio or something else?
Stay out of Cincinnati. We are full. We have too many people from California, New York and Chicago moving here. We don’t need any more people and tell your friends.
😂😂
I thought Cincinnati’s population is steady while the out of state people are moving to popular states like Texas, Florida, North and South Carolinas, Georgia, Utah, Idaho, etc.
Columbus > Cincinnati > Cleveland
That is kind of what I am getting from people if they compare city by city although people seem to really like the suburbs of Cincinnati. What makes you like Columbus the best?
Cincinnati all day. Arts, architecture, and our pro teams.
Columbus is just one big suburb. There is nothing cosmopolitan or urban about it. Cleveland definitley has an East coast vibe
Cleveland does have nice suburbs and the living is cheap, although the weather sucks six months out of the year.
Ohio is good. Columbus is crap. Cincinnati isnt bad
Columbus
Why Columbus?
CBus!!!!
Don’t move to Columbus, it’s too many people as is.
Tuscarawas County Ohio is the best for quiet times but normal too everything else! New Philadelphia and Dover !
Cincinnati, and it isn’t even close. Columbus is fine, but bland. Cleveland is just a mess.
That's exactly how I describe Columbus. I love Cincinnati.
🤷 Cbus has it crime overall the central,Ohio is growing Intel building Midwest silicon Midwest. Amazon , Facebook other data centers locating here. Use to called a vowtown plenty to do here ,#1 Science museum world class zoo. Arts entertainment restaurants. Get Better informed 🤷

Columbus is the best city to live in Cleveland and Cincinnati are dangerous
None of the above they all suck I live there 😆
Don't move to cleveland
I live in Cleveland, love it
It doesn’t matter. No matter where, there is no escaping that Ohio State is becoming increasingly irrelevant in football
Well, as a USC Trojans fan, I’d love to swap problems. I hear a lot if Buckeye fans call for Ryan Day’s job. Do you think they should retain him?
@@BrothaontheGo yes. OSU fans are irrational with their expectations
Yeah, the guy basically hasn’t lost to anyone outside of Jim Harbaugh, Dabo Sweeney, Nick Saban, and Kirby Smart. I think he has a knack for recruiting and developing receivers like Lincoln Riley is for QB and Iowa for TE. Who do you want them to get for QB?
Go blue. I'm from Da Bus. Grew up in Brittany Hills and Woodland Ave between Mock rd and 17th ave
@BrothaontheGo as a Michigan fan growing up in a suckeye family, I can honestly point out that in both contracts there are two stipulations. One is the national championship, the other is beating Michigan
Why did you put Hispanics in the second place, they're in the 3rd place, 2 or more but races are in the 4th place, and then Asian and native American, Really it should just be people, were all mixed up anyway, as we should be, y'all do realize that God put people together, it ain't nothing you can do to decide your faith
Yep too many white people in the Midwest and I’m white and from mi
Ohio is a state you move from, not to.
We have enough crime, stay out of Ohio
Avoid them all. Why on earth would you want to live in Ohio, of all places.
It’s low cost, the people are laid back, traffic isn’t too bad, and there are decent job opportunities. It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough.
If you ever want to buy a house for a down to earth price, then yes Ohio is where you want to be.
Not sure about all of Ohio but Cincinnati is one of the best cities in America when you factor everything
As someone who lives in Pennsylvania (living in Pennsylvania is wack) and has also lived in new York the same question needs to be asked!
