    I have, but it was several years ago. I brought a co-worker and he found a small nugget and I did well in a couple of spots that we tried. I have been in the desert a good amount the last few months and it has been going well. Best of luck to you and have fun out there.

      Thanks for the comment and perhaps we might cross paths out there. That small nugget was a nice one as it was thick. Thanks again and best of luck.

    I recently traveled into the Bradshaws , I found some color but just 1 or 2 pieces . I’m sure there’s more , but I had a hard time finding anything good. I’m gonna head out again and hopefully find a productive site.

      Do your best to dig to bedrock as most of the gold ends up in the basement. If you find consolidated cobles that are like concrete break it up, screen it, and pan it. Look for schist zones especially on bedrock. Break it up, clean and pan. Best of luck.

      Thanks I appreciate you watching. That creek is going to give up some good gold I will be back in the area this coming Wednesday through Friday evening. I hiked up a ways beyond where I was and already know my next digs that I feel have potential. Best wishes.

    Very clever tool, that Blize-tec. Looks quite effective. gonna have to put that on my list. I will be going out on a grand gold-getting adventure this coming October which I am hoping to make last for several months. Your vids are great by the way (new sub)

    • @darkh2o716
      @darkh2o716  6 років тому +1

      That Blize-Tec has really turned into a handy tool. It is well made and sturdy as well as versatile. In October I have ten days prospecting in Colorado. Glad you enjoy the videos. Have a great October adventure and if your in AZ perhaps we can move some dirt.

    I appreciate the effort you put in to this presentation.I grew up around Cleator and Crown King. I almost left my job in Phx , to work in the gold mine in Crown King I spent more time in the Bradshaws than most. The Swastika mine was of the first places I spent time in . Are you familiar with" The Late" Roy Cleator? How about" The Late" Al Guathier? The Turkey Creek area was very productive. It still holds tailing worth major bank. PS> Dale Purrucio and Gary Boyd jr. with you.

      Thanks for the interesting comment and glad you like the video. I like the Cleator area and have done a bit of reading on the history and geology.. I have found gold there and have two videos prospecting near Cleator. I need to do some research and bag a claim or two this year as I feel like now is a good time to do some serious work. Best wishes.

      I remember the house by the swastica mine. Don't remember where the mine was. Back 20 years ago. Also the De soto mine which they caved in st the top back then. My dad and I knew one of the cleators( son) He died in 1994. The school house is stil there that he went to. Plus the peck mine where our friend lived there till he went blind and moved to cleator. The area has a lot of history. It is in some of the ghost town books. It's been a out 4 or five years since I have been to crown King . Our other friend use to work at the bar and live up there.Great video!

      It was a bit of a load and then I had the addition of the material I dug out to pan. I hiked perhaps just over a mile. I actually really like the physical nature of this kind of prospecting. It is a great replacement and addition to normal workouts. Thanks for the comment I am glad you liked it. More coming and best wishes.

      Absolutely as they are hard to come by. However if you can hit the bedrock there is always that chance. I have been lucky enough to walk upon a couple of sunbakers which is truly awesome.
