I used to be pathologically afraid of bees. But ever since I started watching you on TikTok and UA-cam, I’m not as afraid of them as I used to be. Today while I was waiting for my Uber at the curb, I noticed some bees working on a flowering bush next to me. Instead of leaving that spot, I just sat there watching them. It was really nice not being afraid to be around bees anymore. 😊 🐝
That’s awesome! For me it was snakes! I watched some snake videos on UA-cam and they really grew on me. I used to be extremely scared of them. I think I’ll always be scared of roaches though lol

What a superior Queen this hive must have! The artistry of her combs is glorious! So glad you were able to save this quality colony; we need bees for so many reasons, not least their creative skills.
Where I used to work one morning we found a swarm of bees hanging from the branch of a small tree. We contacted a local bee keeper. When he arrived he casually placed a cardboard box under the bees, gave them a little smoke, then gently shook them down into the box. He placed the box on the back seat of his car and drove away, all this with no protective clothing or hood. It seems some people have a natural affinity with bees, just as others do with dogs or horses.
I admire you. Here in Wisconsin, we live in the country. Over the years I have learned a great deal about bees, wasps, and hornest. If I find a bee inside my house, I will capture it and release it outside. We need them, nothing in my house for them. Bees are amazing and so are you.
Watching you save the bees is hypnotic. The sound of your voice, the slowness of your movements and the gentle buzz of these colonies lulls me to stillness, like you've given me some smoke. Incredibly cool and so kind to the environment.

I saved some big bumbler bees from a puddle and sat them on a piece of wood, blew on them slightly to help dry them out and they are absolutely adorable drying their little faces and wings. I had just cut some watermelon so I grabbed a piece and they drank it dry! All 3 flew off and I hope they got home safe ❤️ this channel really helped break my fear of our bee friends

Because we don't have bee keepers like this in our area so we just gotta kill it.

No matter where you Live, there are very likely bee keepers nearby. Check local cooperative extension offices and online. Not all beekeepers will tackle an existing established colony but “feral” colonies established (in buildings or tree hollows), tend to have superior genetic that may help managed colonies resist diseases and parasites. I know from experience that an “Overly defensive”colony established in a residence can be a problem but the “just kill ‘em” approach is seldom used successfully because a cavity once occupied gives off a scent that attracts swarms looking for a new home. BE Smart. Call a BeeKeeper!!

omg I didn’t know they build slat structures like that in the wild too!! What a gorgeous hive!! My dad keeps bees (this is the start of his second year) and I’ve always been fascinated by the fuzzy little dudes! Its amazing how docile they were with you! And wow what a gorgeous hive they built! Its so cool how individuals in the hive, even of the same type have different markings too, and wow what a HUGE queen bee!! I’m in love with this. Subbed!!
There are few channels that are wholesome. This is one of those few that are. Ever since I found it, I have enjoyed the peacefulness that comes from being so calm around such an important species. I think that saving bee populations is just as important as saving ourselves. Without bees, our world would cease to function properly.
Years ago while cutting firewood, I noticed a fair number of bees about. They appeared to be interested in the sawdust and weren't making any aggressive moves toward us. No big deal - we kept working. To this day I'm fascinated when I see bees that are mellow being handled by someone knowledgeable.
Thank you for your patience and calm demeanor. So few know how to react to bees, and how much we humans depend on their incredibly important work. Without bees and other pollinating insects like them humanity as we know it today could not survive. So your work may not be as audience gathering and flashy as a combat soldier's but your work is at least as important as theirs.

Thank you for being so gentle and respectful of these amazing creatures.
You're doing 2 things for me, reassuring me that some people actually care about the world we live in, and calming me down with your melodic voice.
Hey, I'm a 12 year old who was scared of bees when I was younger but when I was in 3rd grade I watched honey bee videos. Then when I was 10-11 years old, I found your tiktok (or YT shorts) videos and I understand even more and I love your vids. Ik if it's long but I love your videos and want to be a beekeeper like you. Keep up the great work, beekeeper! Bzzzz, bzz bzzzz bzzzz 🐝❤
I love how she cares about the bees. She genuinely loves what she does. I love how sh scoops the Beas with so much care. Definitely a bee whisperer ❤
your videos make me unreasonably happy.
Also, the calmness with which you work and speak is hypnotising. Great job, Save the Bees!
Enjoying watching your videos. Thank you for your great job saving the bees.
Your voice is so calming; if I were a bee I wouldn’t need any smoke to relax me. I’d just calmly make my way to the new hive and fall asleep listening to you calming voice. 🥱😴
She uses smoke from cannabis plants.
The smoke is relaxing to the bees?
Thank you and everyone else that make videos like this. I've shown my children videos like this and I believe it has 💯 changed their mind on bees. My son and daughter both now will let bees crawl on their hands now and are definitely not afraid anymore. Keep up the bee tutorials and showing how bees are not out to harm people and how they truly help every other living thing on this earth. ❤
Listening to you explain this process with your calm voice just makes it so calm to watch and listen to ❤❤
I love this woman's voice, passion for saving bees, calm demeanor, and total lack of fear.
I had a beehive for a while; on a nice day, you definitely dont need protective equipment.
She was a bee queen in another live for sure! Her job is amazing ❤
I just love how calm you are around the bees, and I love your voice it's so gentle
Absolutely wonderful how you work with the bees . I think you are a graet example how to meet with the bees in a respectful, fearless and loving way. I hope many beekeepers will follow your example.
I've always found it astounding how, out of hundreds of thousands bees, she can easily find the Queen. That takes some serious skill x
I love that she just does this with no protective clothes on and hardly ever gets stung. All the bees are so calm around her
You are so awesome, Erika!
You are a special person, and I'd like to thank you for being there for the bees of the world! 🙏🎇🤩❣️
I'm realizing bees can make a hive anywhere, I think it's so cute
Darlin', I could listen to you all day. I think my blood pressure dropped twenty points in the last ten minutes.
I really enjoy your videos-- educational and entertaining, and gratifying! I am fascinated with how you carefully and thoughtfully interact and engage with bees and remind us of how important they are for our ecosystem.
This is exactly what I needed on my 15 minute break. Your voice is so calming. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a great rest of your day. Bee well!
@@TexasBeeworks So how can I contact you for my bee problem 🐝🍯🐝🍯🐝☺️☺️
@@TexasBeeworks When youre entering a newly found nuisance colony that you need to dispose of, is it safest to use a type of flammable bug spray with a lighter or hairspray and a lighter like a torch to clear it all out, or is it best to just use a bat or a hockeystick and a broom? Because we don't have bee keepers like this in our area so we just gotta kill it.
I love listening to her as much as watching
@@Sai-ll3rc go into the description of the videos. There's an email address for that.
It's not difficult to tell from her videos how much she loves and cares for the bees. Massive respect to her!

Your work is beautiful Erika this Hive really showed how beautiful they work and develop their Combs You're right the queen is a gorgeous bee in all your videos the Queens are all a little bit different but just have striking colour
😊
Your voice is so calming that is why the bees love you.
The population of the world owe all beekeepers like yourself a great debt of gratitude. Many people may not realize, that you are helping to protect the food supply. Many of the foods that the world depends on, cannot exist without the help of bees.
Appreciate the important work you do and the love with which you do it. You are amazing.
That hive was huge! What an amazing job you did.
After a horrible day at work, coming to see this really makes your day ❤🐝❤🐝❤🐝❤🐝❤🐝❤
I love your videos!! Some people are just born to do something- you are an absolute bee whisperer doing exactly what you were meant to do!! Thank you for doing such an amazing job at something so important for our world❤️
Damn, some people believe anything!
@@deliveryguy7402You're a Real JERK !!!
I was stung in the face by bees when I was a kid and your videos have completely changed me 🥹 thanks for helping conquer the fear lady! You do amazing work
Another absolutely wonderful video showing your love for bees. I love how much you care about these beautiful creatures. Thank you for this lovely video. 🐝
Thank you for returning to your full sized UA-cam video stories. Much more interesting and educational than those short, small sized ones (shot with some phone it looks like).
I find those especially nice to watch. To each their own.
I like them both js
Both are good
I wouldn’t even know about this channel if it weren’t for the Shorts. I watch em all.
I enjoy the long videos
But the shorts are pretty sweet 🍯 😊
Ahhh! I love watching these! And they make me soooo happy! And I would love to see what you have setup for any of the bees you rescue at your house or wherever you keep them!
Beekeeping is an incredibly beautiful spectacle to watch. I love watching you and others. It inspires me to try to do this one day. The bees need our help and I would love to give them back what they have so generously given us. ❤️❤️❤️🥰
People are starting to love bee's now because of you. Any time I come across someone who is no longer afraid of bee's or more sympathetic towards then they credit it to you. Please keep doing what you do. You are amazing
Thank you!!❤ you’ve helped me not be so afraid of bees and sparked an interest into bee keeping! Keep up the amazing work!! So fearless!!
this is just so incredibly fascinating, I worked with a woman that was a beekeeper but never got to see it. This young lady is otherworldly
Your calm temperament, peaceful attitude and beautiful voice have the same relaxing affect on me as the bees. Thank you helping with the survival of these amazing little creatures.
I haven’t seen a bee up in Connecticut for a long time
I Love ❤️ you for Loving them!!!
I never knew how much I enjoyed bees 🐝 I’d like they’re important for my garden flowers and veggies alike but I understand so much more now. They are so precious, you and other bee keepers/rescuers have an important job, not only rescuing these babies but educating us who aren’t aware. Thank you
Your work is vital to the world, vital.
omg I didn’t know they build slat structures like that in the wild too!! Subbed!!
These videos are always sooo great. You are so calm around the hive. It amazes me to see you working away like this. Awesome stuff! ❤
PLEASE CONTINUE TO SAVE BEES..WITHOUT THEM WE'RE DONE FOR..YOUR GENTLENESS AND KNOLEDGEIS UNBELIEVABLE..as always prayers and blessings
There are few channels that are wholesome. This is one of those few that are. Ever since I found it, I have enjoyed the peacefulness that comes from being so calm around such an important species. I think that saving bee populations is just as important as saving ourselves. Without bees, our world would cease to function properly.
Lol
You inspire people to aspire for saving bees
Oh, look! A new hive, and it's vacant! What luck!
You are truly amazing!!! Thank you for everything you do to help these little creatures (so vital for mankind's survival, too), you are a true hero!!
I grew up on a farm in Iowa and we did bee keeping. Nothing like fresh harvested honey. Glad to see someone taking care of the bees. Keep up the great work. :)
Thank you so much!
These bees are invasive. They don't need caring or protecting. They need population control.
Same
I love watching them eat the wax and rebuild the comb! I don't know why but it's relaxing.
How to tell if my honey is real or not?
Im always amazed by your work and your videos always calm me if im feeling sad or mad. I used to be very scared of bees but now i understand that there not as scary as i thought after watching your videos. Thank you for everything! 🖤
HI Cynthia how're you? Well I'm Steven by name If you don't mind let be friends also get to know each other more better
This is such a cool channel for learning about bees! 🐝
Just amazing. I'm at a loss for words. It is so reassuring to know there are still honey bees alive and well somewhere and people like you who work so hard to protect them and help them to thrive.
I love the work you do. Such a kind individual you are! Everything I watch your videos there's just something about your voice that is so warm and accommodating. You're a wonderful human being. Keep the good work.
I like to think the reason she never gets stung is because she has been marked by previous bees as a friendly non threatening organism lol
and thats nonsense
@@christophebuisson7536 catch the vibe... chill....
Well, she certainly does get stung... she just states when she is NOT being stung.
I think it’s also because she’s a fraud
Ridiculously funny 🤣
This is soooo Satisfying how calm you are with these 🐝’s this is Amazing!!❤
You're doing God's work. With all the bee mortality of the last several years, it is heartening to see what you do to save these extremely important creatures. And the way you say "beeez" keeps us coming back. Fascinating close-ups. You have a rare gift.
Thank you for your commitment and work. It is so refreshing, and educational.
Your peaceful voice is so memorizing, and indicative of your spirit.
I absolutely LOVE watching these videos, not only do you have a really wonderful narrator voice but you’re doing something so amazing for the environment and the wellbeing of all! I used to be terrified of bees but watching you helped me realize just how important they are, and that we as humans need to do more to save them. I love you and all the work you accomplish, thank you for everything you do for the bees and for the environment❤️
