I haven't missed any episode from the beginning, and I can say to you, Malin, Johan, and Vera as well: This is an absolutely fantastic job! Cheers from Colombia! 🥂
What a major milestone. I think you have made remarkable progress in just a few months with only the one or two of you working on it. After all you had to prepare and extend the boat shed, build the mold, source all the materials and tools before you were even able to start to cut down and lay the strips. And now you have a large and elegant soundly constructed hull. Congratulations. I look forward to following you continue to skillfully construct what will be a magnificent boat.
Congratulations ,Great Job , Fantastic, Wonderful wooden sail boat been watching the whole entertaining videos that some great great woodworking project to have accomplished can't wait to see more of y'alls great videos from Jason Ham of Ham's Custom Woodworks Athens Alabama
Congratulations guys!!!! So happy for you! Johan you put the work in and it looks fabulous! Cheers to you and Malin! What did Vera think of this accomplishment? Closing the hull is a major achievement and you did it!!! Enjoy your time at the beach and get some needed rest. ⛵🌅😴😎
I don't know what others may say, but four months single handed on a hull that size is actually very impressive. 6 months would not have been out of line.
An epic journey you are on , delightful to see a wonderful family following your dream . Amazing to see your commitment and hard work . Thank you for allowing us to follow your adventure. Bless you and your family.
OMG 😱 WOW ❗ It is accomplished !!! Looks fabulous, Johan. Massive job for sure. 4 months does not seem like a long time, especially with no huge team, electronic CAD equipment and doing 90% of the planking alone. B. R. A. V. O. RAN III crew. ✨🌊⛵⚓🌴👙🌞✨
Very well done, a big millstone. Kudos! Progress from will become slower and slower now with all the minute details to come, and be much less visible. Therefore: keep it up, and remember, the journey of getting to your boat is as important as finishing it 😊
Congratulations, very good job. A lot of work, but you managed everything perfectly. I hope we see each other at some time in Montenegro. We are here with our boat, and I would appreciate to show you this small country. You will be astauned. Many Greetings Sascha
He has said multiple times that he's a carpenter by trade, and I believe he mentioned once that he used to make furniture. He's learned a lot more in his time sailing, too!
Just fabulous to see what has been created in a space that was just filled by thin air so few months ago. Wondreful to share the moment from the other side ofthe world in Australia.
Between my wife and I, we restored then cruised 3 traditional wooden boats. We're geezers now and hope we are above the grass long enough to see Ran 3 come to life in the ocean. Keep up the great work!
Congratulations on a job well done, looking forward to the remainder of the build. My heart swelled with joy watching the time-lapse and Johan fitting the last plank, Thank you!!
Congrats, this is a huge milestone. Well done!👴👌🤗 @22:01 Of course, a closing plank it is! So the perfect opportunity to celebrate this milestone. Enjoy.👴😎🥳
Oh , congratulations! I cried with happiness for you both when you placed that last plank! So glad that the cedar on your hull grew in different places on this precious earth -- it seems fitting that as around-the-world sailors based in Sweden, that the "ground" beneath your feet will be Swedish cedar, but that you will be surrounded by trees grown in sunshine 7,500 kms away. May you take time to celebrate this awesome milestone! Blessings to your family.
The hull looks great. She will be beautiful in the water. Four months is nothing compared to the many years of enjoy, ent Ran III will give you and your family.
Congratulations!! You have achieved a real milestone and not gone crazy in the process!! Enjoy your day off at the beach you have most defnitely earned it.

Extremely well done! The planking was done to perfection!!! Many things were enjoyed in this video… the Apple 🍎 Tree pruning, Vera helping Mom, and really loved the toast of a dram of whiskey for each other on the completion of the huge hull of RanIII !!! Great to see the last strips go in! Remember to reinforce that flat fore-foot area: that’s what will be taking the pounding when slamming into big seas. When that happens you’ll remember this day….
Cheers 🥃 guys! I have been following a few boat builds, Leo’s Tally Ho, Acorn to Arabella and Sailing Yaba and it seems the RAN3 has taken barely any time at all, it has gone by so quickly. I can’t wait to see the next phase of the build-good work! ❤
Fantastic Ran lll is going to be so beautiful.....after all that Johan you need a few days off and probably a good long massage....I'm so impressed with the quality of work and organization...you both deserve a giant pat on the back for getting this far so quickly....cheers

You are absolutely to be congratulated on completing the first major milestone of this immense challenge that you have decided to face. We are rookies in these things of the sea (the 3rd this month it was the third anniversary of the purchase of our first sailboat, in our entire lives; we are in the frame of the sixties, age wise), but I, being a DIY guy all my life, I’m absolutely stunned by the endeavor, patience, determination I find in You both (not despising, at all, so many other entrepreneurs that I follow here in the matter of sailing boating); it is breath taking. We wish You health and wealth, in the wider sense, for al very long life ... and will stay eager for following this project 'till the end.
Congratulations not "only" for the completion of the hull, but also for its beautiful shape, and sturdiness. Sure it will be the most gorgeous and and the strongest vessel in the north atlantic. Cheers from south atlantic.

The boat is becoming a masterpiece, thanks your great effort day by day. She’s very huge, and we are glad to see her taking shape. Congratulations!
Don’t forget to buy insurance for the hull. Many have been lost to fire 😅
