This just helped me make my decision! Thank you! This is probably the most positive review I’ve heard about it, especially for the things I plan to use it for. I also appreciate that you are not afraid to use 3rd party accessories to save money!
I am sure you won’t miss the pro for anything. That Pro level chip of M4 iPad Pro does not have any apps that can take advantage of that performance currently. So it is unlikely for someone to get it beyond vanity or for only some people with very specific use cases - like a fashion photographer who wants the most colour accurate portable larger display for quick editing.
@LaptopVirus404 100% yes. The screen will be XDR with pro motion, it will be slightly faster due to one extra GPU core, you will get Face ID instead of Touch ID. But it is also expensive compared to Air. So only if these things are importantly to you then go for the pro. Else it is quite a stretch to pay more for almost identical performance from the same chipset. One large drawback of the pro if I think off, is the fact that the front facing camera in horizontal mode will be on the side and not the top. So your view to others on the call will always look more natural on an Air, in compared to the Pro.
Hi, If you already have an iPhone and your work remotely has video editing, iPad Air will be a no brainer. As AirPods etc, will just sync. But if you do not plan on doing video editing or any other intense graphics tasks on a tablet, then S9 has plenty of power, plus it has better OLED screen, multi tasking, the accessories later are slightly more affordable. Apple does a better job of updates and additional software features, so that can be point to consider before making the decision.

Thank you! ☺️
Thanks for the review. I am strongly considering it over the pro version.
