By the way, the plastic cover that was on top of the camera can be stored in the handle itself so you don't lose it

When I said rough and ready I really didn't disappoint, unboxed the product the wrong way around and got the c-stand in the top right of the shot - boom! Also by 'zoom-type' lenses I mean servo zooms. I'm super pumped to share some test shots with you all soon!
Nice - Mine has arrived at VideoCraft (Melb) and it is being shipped to me in Sydney. Thankfully I already have in hand the PZ 28-135 (a servo zoom) to pair with it. Can't wait!
I watched this video just so i can see which AC Power Supply it comes with only to hear you say. I"m probably not going to unbox the rest". lol

@@MattQuattro It's all good I figured it out. We own 10 of them and with all our other gear I end up with a plethora of AC power supplies and trying to keep track of which one goes with what is a challenge.
Wooow cant believe you got one. No one in the US is getting them. I put my preorder in with B&H the second preorders opened up and call them every other day to check up on it - they don’t even have an ETA on when they’ll be expect to receive a batch. On launch day B&H, arguably the biggest camera store in the US, only got 2 FX6’s which immediately went to high profile corporate clients lmao. But I got my hands on an a7S iii to play with in the meantime. Post some sample footage soon, cheers!
Amazing, it’s the total opposite here - the company I went through received around 80 units of the FX6 but the a7S III won’t be coming until January!

Apparently Australia is one of the few places to get shipments. Very few have reached U.S. and Sony is going to ration them. For instance B&H ordered 500 but Sony is only sending them 150 so that they can take care of smaller retailers and individuals. Sony was caught by surprise at the immediate demand for this camera. I'm jealous, I can't wait to get mine. I got the lens but no camera yet.
I had no idea that was the case! I think I got luckily placing a pre-order early. I’ve heard there are still long wait times but hopefully you can get it soon enough, it’s a great camera!

Wow, I’m jealous... I’m not expecting mine until next week. I’ll be keeping an it out for your feedback. I plan to do a a comparison to the Canon C70 when my Sony gets in. Sub if you’re curious or have any test you’d like to see. Have fun and keep it up!
I'm definitely keen but nervous to see this against the C70. I'm still wondering how I'll feel about this Sony colour science haha!

Hallo Matt, i pre ordered the FX6 too 👍🏻😉 really a great cam 😅 but why is there no object focus tracking at the FX6? I came here to see if there was a wall power adapter in the box and you did NOT unbox everything! Well of course theres a FX6 body in the box, dah. Unbox EVERYTHING next time. PS. Im not angry. Well I have to search for another video then.

@@MattQuattro I received my FX6 last week and I thought I could use the wall adapter while the battery is charging. I was wrong. Sony does so many good things and so many stupid. I'm happy that I received my D-tap cable for it so quickly. 🙌

wow, how long you wait for the camera? I just put my order week ago, they said it may ship 1 quarter of 2021 :(
I was lucky because I was on the first wave of pre-orders and got mine in early December. Apparently there are shortages because of a Sony factory fire is what I've heard, but hopefully it will arrive soon!
@@MattQuattro yeah the A7siii got the same problem, friend of mine got preorder on early October, and it arrived on early December. And BH told me my order may arrive on February, so I cancelled my order and go for A7siii.
@@tklee9556 Not a bad choice at all. Honestly the a7S III is amazing value for the images it can produce!
@@MattQuattro Yes it is, I'm amazed by the image quality and the improved inbody stabilizer of A7siii, I think that's the reason why I chosed Sony, you can see their improvement from each generation.
