  • On the second day of clearing up the allotment I sorted through all the things that were in the shed. Some things could be used but there was an awful lot of rubbish to get rid of. By the end of the day, the shed was tidy and swept clean. I now have somewhere that I can use for storage and to shelter from both the rain and hot sun.

That shed has so much potential! It is like a proper old outbuilding 😁

They made them properly in those days. Unlike the modern sheds that are designed to last 4-5 years.

I love the little cottage/shed! What a potential for a unique and interesting building. I can't imagine the history involved in it!

This site has been going for around 100 years, so there are a few old building still left. Unfortunately mine has been neglected for years and needs a lot of repairs.

Glad you like it! I'll repair it a bit, once the plot itself is sorted.

@@hobouk3871 Unfortunately I'm rarely in the shed for long and hardly ever get a chance to sit down.

This site has been going for a long time. These are from the time before the war when people took their allotments seriously.

This site is over a century old so the buildings are from a time when people made things to last.
