+SuperAceuno1 the reason is winners tend to accept their victory as the greatest thing. Losers who win in the end are people who refuse to accept anything short of perfection or success. That is why I'm here listening to Lindsey Stirling and not the winner whom i dont even remember their name.
You are my best inspiration, when I first started watching you, I ran as fast as I can to my dads room and ask if I could go for violin lessons to be good like you. He said yes, this is the first time he said yes to anything so major! I quickly dialed a tutor and my dad said that I have to attend piano tutors first, then violin. I started to remember some things when I was young almost the same as your story, I attended ballet class, I won an award for it, I was able to get my first violin. Here I am, 10 years old, trying my best to study in school, and everyday, my teacher would say I had a high grade, especially in Music. You are the reason I started doing and becoming who I really am, you inspired me to do the best I can, and you inspired me to chase my dreams. I now attend violin tutors and I attend badminton classes because it helps my hips and stuff in moving, I've gotten bruises before trying to do all this, but I didn't give up, I stood back up and continued what I did. Thank you Lindsey, so much, for being an inspiration to me, I wouldn't be here right now without you! You probably won't see this, but good luck in your life! May all your dreams come true!

I love you so much Lindsey! I haven't watched you much in a long time because I was upset that I had to quit getting violin because I was getting wrist surgery. I couldn't stand even listening to violin and I would get very frustrated whenever someone said the word violin. I later became mad at myself because I had given up on my dreams even after my surgery and especially that I stopped watching you, you were my inspiration. So, my mom talked to my teacher, and if I didn't want to be in beginner next year again, I'd have to take lessons during this summer, I was so excited. That would mean I would be in intermediate with my friends. I don't know if this made sense but I hope it did, but it felt necessary to do this. Thank you for reading. ❤️

Well I am a bit late but wanted to say this. If you want to live your dream, you will fall. But always stand up again and never let anything push you down. This is your life and you have only one, so make it so that you can look back at it and smile. I´m glad for you that you can pick up violin again. they are merely three random people who judge upon what soothes them. they are NOT the whole of America. and certainly NOT the rest of the world. we, UA-camrs, know what grit this girl has. we honour talent. you don't get to be one of the world's best fiddlers by getting to practise only 15 minutes per session! and that's what she has done. show some respect for true talent. she did not have any dad, uncle or bloody pimp for that matter to promote her career. and yes, I do play the violin. I know how tough it is to play that bullish nightingale.

During the pre- show experience August 25, 2018 I asked Lindsey to pray that I get a new kidney, told her I've almost lost hope etc...She asked my name, told me she would pray with the band for me before the concert. As she left to get ready I thanked her. She walked over, hugged me and said Dont you dare give up! Near the end of the show she was talking about depression, losing hope etc...Then she said" I dedicate this song to James Cooper!
Her hair changes so many times. Blonde, ginger, brown, red. It makes her unique how she is. Her blue eyes are beautiful, her videos are perfect. How she had an anorexia but she's perfect the way she is. Without her I wouldn't be the person today. Happy.

First of all, sorry for my English. You probably are not going to read this but I really need to say this: YOU INSPIRE ME. After suffering from depression, anxiety, health, family and love issues, including traumatizing experiences in my life which has lead me several times to the edge of suicide, it's been quite difficult sometimes to smile at life. You are not only a very talented girl; I love seeing you after your videos or any video of yours where you speak, because I love seeing you smile... I see you and I see a warrior, someone who had a dream and never stop fighting, never stop smiling. Lindsey, please never stop smiling, never stop dancing and playing. I want my dreams to come true as you (I don't play music, but I love to write stories) and I don't want to quit until I reach them as you did. But above everything, I want to keep smiling as you do. Please, keep inspiring me, as I know you are inspiring a lot of people all over the world. Thank you, sweet girl, thank you so much. God bless you!

Lindsey is truly an inspiring person and has touched so many lives...if she did not take the time to get to know herself, take care of herself, nurse her dreams, and basically if she did not exist, can you imagine how many people would NOT be affected by her? I write stories too. I always feel like they are childish because I'm only 13. But I hope that one day I will become what I want to be if I work hard... And I also have a suiside prob so I know how it feels but know that God loves you. Thank you for sharing this so I know I'm not the only one.
I feel like such a jerk for having only discovered Lindsey 3 days ago. For many years I have been longing for another virtuoso to come along doing something a bit different and to find out shes been producing music for years, unbelievable great music, was sobering. Everyone keeps saying stuff about how each person has a talent and I am hard pressed to believe it.
:,) you made me believe that my dream can come true, too and I am gonna pursue it! I am going to help raise funds for the people who are suffering with diseases, people who are homeless, people who need to work all day or walk for miles just to get water, and unclean water at that, and lastly, saving nature from being destroyed.... I wish the thing you said at the end was true. But no, all of us can't do what we want, infact most of us are stuck in the gutter for one reason or the other that you yourself can not change or impact. It is a very nice thought and sounds like a nice thing to say but it only brings people, especialy young ones, more down since they are constantly told that they can do and be whatever they like just to find themself chained by many, many things in this cruel world.
I'm in denial about what you just said. I'm a very optimistic person and try to be happy and think and see the best in everything but the more I try to do this the less I appear to actually be doing anything that is making any positive difference to me. All the systems that are in place regarding money and jobs ect impact that.
Deep down I agree with what you said, but I really don't want to and it makes me sad.

Yes! I gave this advice to my friend when she was feeling somewhat the same way about her life and her "success" but I guess it didn't seem to sink in for me and I didn't take in my own advice. It's funny how that works.
Edward Alessandro Tokash Yes, you are right in that part. And I am very glad that you are feeling good about yourself as you should. But what I was talking about was pursuing your dream and the sterotype where while you are a kid or a teenager are pumped with "you can be whatever you want". And to be honest we all crave confirmation or validation in some way from someone. Also artists can be their own worst critics. I am in the same spot as you are as in facing very hard situations for over the course of years now that are not going away. And I fight as much as I can but people who didn't expirience stuff or just don't care enough often say things "You just need to try harder. Don't give up, you need to work harder" etc. And while they don't mean any ill with that, infact most of them want to give you pep talk to me it sounds hurtful in terms that they don't understand or care enough to put themself in my shoes.
And as I said it is hard to follow your hobby, dream, to express your art when you are limited by so many things. Can you imagine how many talented people don't have voice to even comment on internet? How many of them are in refugees lines right now? That is why i said to barba negra that his comment about the privilege to watch other make it is true. Although in my case it is quite possible that I will soon join the ranks of those without digital voice.
Ever since I was 4 years old,I have wanted to be an author.I've been writing my own books since I was 4,but my school did a contest every year that would let kids write a book and there would be 15 winners and they would get to meet an actual author,and I didn't win once and I always put my best into them and I show them to my best friends and they say the words "You need to work harder if you're gonna be an author".Also in 2nd,3rd,and 4th grade,we got to meet poets and we got to write poems and the best ones got to go in an actual poetry book,and they said the same words "You need to work harder if you're gonna be an author".

I cry every time I watch this video and I'm not really sure why. Lindsey, if you read this, your music makes me so happy. I know whenever I'm in a dark place I can listen to your music, watch your videos, read your book, etc. and I'll feel better. I've had some pretty hard times where I thought about ending my life, but I didn't because through your story and music I was able to keep fighting and trying. When I feel numb to the world I know that listening to your music will be the only thing that can pull me out of it, even if for a few moments. Thank you so much for being you! I really hope you read this. I don't really think I'd be alive without you and for that I am forever grateful!

Being a classical trained musician for 23 years now, it's inspiration to see someone make it in music. I unfortunately couldn't pursue my dream for financial reasons and taking over the family farm, so it's fantastic to me what you're doing for classical instruments and making them mainstream. You did what I couldn't and for that I thank you with all my heart! You're truly a gift to us all.

I got turned on to your music late, the first was that great song you did for the Dracula TV series .. which was very good , the rating system for TV is so outdated now. Any way you are so talented and a great player and full of cosplay fun. : ) Would love to see you do a CD on many of the Classic Prog band s music of 1969-76 ... King Crimson, Genesis, Yes, Gentle Giant, ELP, Pink Floyd, Nektar, Jethro Tull, UK, Caravan and many more. There music is so vast, Sci-Fi, Victorian, Fantasy, Technical and just Cool. The Violin is a great Prog instrument ! I think you'd have great fun doing it. : )
