I was raised Christian and I don't want to say I stopped believing but I'll say I questioned more as I went through my 20s, 30s and 40s. But this show has brought me back to the message that I always felt was missing in modern Christianity. The message of peace, love and compassion. Too often today's Christians and especially the churches have forgotten that message. The Gospel of Thomas verse 77 said it perfectly: "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained. Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there." That was used in the movie Stigmata in 1999 and has always stuck with me. You do not need to go to a mega church, or the Vatican to see and find God, he is everywhere. I always feel closest with God when I walk through a forest alone and take in nature. To me that is my heaven on earth.

Have you ever had goosebumps on top of goosebumps, been crying and close your eyes hoping that when you open them this music and feeling will never fade away? I just felt this! Lindsey, you and The Chosen cast have touched on the small fibers of miraculous and spiritual brightness a miniscule amount of entertainers are capable of doing. Thank you for filling my soul with joy and appreciation for my blessings. My daughter was almost taken from our family and I know our Heavenly Father performed miracles during her sons birth and the 7 surgeries that followed for her. 88 units of blood that would simply not been available the month prior. Trauma surgeons, lab staff, nurses etc. were short handend just the day prior. However the day everything turned and she went into Toxic Shock and resulting in DIC a fatal bleeding disorder. All 50 doctors surgeons and medical staff were readily available and blood was found and flown in to save her. This healed more of my soul than anything has since. I am grateful beyond measure for this gift you all of bestowed upon us all.
I wasn't religious until recently. I lost the love of my life recently and fell into a depressive state and was contemplating commuting. A friend asked if I would be interested in a service before thanksgiving and I had nothing else to lose so I went. Between all the prayer and singing, I found our Lord. It may be my my first Thanksgiving without her but it is my first with our Lord. He saved me and showed me I am worth living.
I just love the way you portrayed Jesus here. I mean, He is God, He made this world, He has the power and wisdom we can't even imagine... and He chose to die for us. To live like one of us, to know suffering, illness, weakness and pain every human faces. And more than that - He fased the most horrible death, the weight of sins of every single person who ever lived or would live. He wasn't to blame for any of our sins but assumed the punishment for each of them. I can't imagine such selflessness. And this video reminds me of all this. It shows the love of God. The way He hugs people He found and healed, how He looks at them with a compassion and love... it reminds me of the fact what He looks the same way at me. What He loves me despite all my flaws. This is the first time I've felt anything other than complete apathy for the Christmas season this year. I didn't want any part of the celebrations, but this brought back why this holiday matters. Heard this version for the first time yesterday while driving and almost had to pull over because it was so beautiful I started to cry. Lindsey's music was introduced to me by a biology teacher that would play it while we were working independently. That was 7 or 8 years ago and I've been in love with her music ever since. That's why she is called "The Dancing Violinist".Lindsey did have about 3 weeks of the flute but she never kept it going. And Lindsey has 25+ violins -- NO fiddles & NO violas. And Lindsey is NOT a sound engineer. Rob and Brett are the sound engineers. Lindsey is an editor. She edits ALL of her videos/TikToks. She really loves that aspect of her career. Back in Jr. High, Lindsey would use her dad's editing programs he had on his computer. In fact, these are the software Lindsey has learned: RexEdit, Edious, Final Cut, Premiere, Avid+, and Adobe Premiere Pro. UA-cam Red even let Lindsey edit her documentary film, Brave Enough.

This song has always been my favorite. Christmases growing up, with all the family together. My Grandma used to sing like an angel. This song reminds me of the times before I lost everyone I love. Now to hear this from Lindsey, is amazing, but it's also very heart wrenching for me, and I admit to being in tears. 😭❤️

Heard this version for the first time yesterday while driving and almost had to pull over because it was so beautiful I started to cry.
Lindsey's music was introduced to me by a biology teacher that would play it while we were working independently. That was 7 or 8 years ago and I've been in love with her music ever since. Lindsey ONLY plays the violin. NO other instruments. That's why she is called "The Dancing Violinist".Lindsey did have about 3 weeks of the flute but she never kept it going. And Lindsey has 25+ violins -- NO fiddles & NO violas.
And Lindsey is NOT a sound engineer. Rob and Brett are the sound engineers. Lindsey is an editor. She edits ALL of her videos/TikToks. She really loves that aspect of her career. Back in Jr. High, Lindsey would use her dad's editing programs he had on his computer. In fact, these are the software Lindsey has learned: RexEdit, Edious, Final Cut, Premiere, Avid+, and Adobe Premiere Pro. UA-cam Red even let Lindsey edit her documentary film, Brave Enough.

This song has always been my favorite. Christmases growing up, with all the family together. My Grandma used to sing like an angel. This song reminds me of the times before I lost everyone I love. Now to hear this from Lindsey, is amazing, but it's also very heart wrenching for me, and I admit to being in tears. 😭❤️
Best part about this is that it doesn't sound like a Christmas song at all with this rendition. It makes it all the better because it feels like something I'd hear in a major movie. Always loved her work from the start and will continue being a fan! From AGT onwards!

You're simple amazing! Glad I got to see you live in San Antonio last year. That's been on my bucket list for a while. It's now been replaced by wanting to see you live again.
I know you're master of storyboarding, shooting, directing and such, but how did you get the clouds to show up for the exterior shots near the crosses? That was some of the best cinematography that I've seen. Fantastic editing! The story just unfolded without a hitch. Your skills are limitless. You should do this for a living. 😁

The Chosen is a fantastic portrayal of The Bible, both in literal historical truths and in the way they tell the story. Oh Holy Night is also one of my favorite Christmas songs, so thanks for this!
