The process of using the Lightning Bolt® Lock Pin to secure the doors on enclosed trailer doors is straightforward. Each pin has a tamperproof head and is threaded into place utilizing the custom tamperproof key designed to only fit the Lightning Bolt® Lock Pins. All threads are reverse threaded for additional protection and added security. Once the pin is in place, we like to say it is hidden in plain sight since the pin head looks like a rivet and gets lost in the sea of other rivets on the trailer. The Lightning Bolt® Lock Pin offers a variety of brackets to fit various applications and door styles. This cargo trailer uses Swivel Brackets, which can be stored off to the side with no obstruction when a person or equipment enters the trailer.
