As a Spanish speaker, I admit that it has been very difficult for me to incorporate "though" in my daily conversation. I think it is because in Spanish there isn't structure to put the contrast at the end of the sentence, which is quite strange and unnatural for us. Living in London for years I have already been able to incorporate it though 😛
I am really fond of watching your videos instead of following other UA-cam channels, collecting some notions that are more helpful in order to brush up my english skill.
This is a great video to simplify the learning of connectives. I'm a native speaker and I can confirm that these are very commonly used linking words. I must admit, one of them I tend to use a lot though...
This is really helpful indeed. It makes our English sound more natural, closer to real native speaker.
Amazing videos with meaningful advice for our students and excellent material for our lesson plans. Thank you for sharing, Ben.
Thank you Ben!!!! This is really useful and easy to follow. You always rock!!!!
Thank you so much for this video. It's very simple and informative at the same time.
I'm amazed by your channel and the way you teach! Simple and concise. Thanks!!
Ben, you are one of the best UA-camr I have seen. You simply rock. Congrats!
Thank you Ben, I am an English teacher and I highly recommend your videos and content. Thank you
Always a BENchmark! I love your videos: the art of turning what's difficult into simple, nice and entertaining to watch! + a sense of humour. To the point... and that's it! Not an easy task, though!
This is an exceedingly good course a really essential one for learning and sounding like a native speaker After studying it intensively one can reach a really good level of English Brilliant
Thanks for sharing Ben. I'm from Brazil and I'm sudying for CAE. Your videos really help me a lot !
Hey! It was very helpful. I already subscribed your channel. Thanks. Regards from Portugal

I undertand all you say in your video 😀. It's fantastic. So I decided to Watch all your videos. Thanks for them
Wow! There are a lot to watch (the old ones are terrible 😆)
You are right, I seldom use the linking though, I got used to using although, even though but never though
Awesome! Tks
thanks a lot ! very useful
Amazing lesson thanks for sharing and the effort u put in every video.
Great lesson!👏🏻
I like so much your videos ! You have a clear accent . I can understand everything! My native language is Spanish!!!
A video for gerunds would be great. Or verbs that are followed by a gerund
Thanks a lot
Your video is so informative.
"Like" is more than a linker among younger crowd, particularly girls, as it seems. They, like, sprinkle, like, you know, like almost every other word with "like" :)
Thank you!! This was a very useful video for me. (And you really made me laugh with that KISS method)
I know 'kiss' this way: Keep IT Super Simple :) love the lesson Ben :)
Thanks
Today our English teacher showed us this video. I had to subscribe!
That's great...you're very welcome! (and your teacher's cool 😁)
Though scares me a lot and therefore i avoid this word. Let's see your explanation and i hooe it will help me :)
Cheers ❤❤❤❤❤

This video is useful for spoken English, but I think those who taught other linking words had formal writing in mind. If possible, could you do a video on more formal counterparts particularly the ones that are less known such as in that, as such, inasmuch as, albeit, as, regardless of, and the like.
Hello from beautiful Cracow in Poland:) Thank you so much for very useful contests:)
Love the Spanish accent Ben😉
Could you make more videos on connectors?
Good day. Just recently discovered your chanel. Love it!
Preparing for CAE now. Could you please make a video on formal and informal linkers . For example, in this video you mentioned a linker so. What kind of writing is it appropriate for, formal or informal? Thanks in advance!
I find a bit hard to write an English essay. I have lot of ideas in my mother language but when I try write an English essay my mind blanks up. Now I’m trying different things like mind maps, flash cards etc but no one of them don’t works correctly for me. Please help me.
You're right but for an exam they are really useful. Unfortunately, real English is not so important for passing an exam.
Would you kindly record a video on: so that, so to, so as to, in order to, to?
You saved my ass!
Another linker I find very useful is 'moreover'
In an linking together?
@@tothepointenglishwithben. how to say “IN AN accident” linking them together
Ok, you're referring to connected speech. It's difficult to explain here, but it's something like "i na naccident"
@@tothepointenglishwithben. I feel my tongue is telling me it’s awkward linking them altogether lol
@@tothepointenglishwithben. could you make a video explicitly explaining this sort of linking , I would much appreciate :)
❤❤❤❤❤💋🙊
