You should have min 1 million followers ... great stuff. I really enjoy .. some of it for me are confirming points that I can't or haven't articulated as well as you.

I truly need help on where to start holding employees accountable. As a new manager for a year ( going from a peer to manager ) is difficult. I do not always follow through with expectation and now I am realizing it is effecting my team morale and the boundaries. Where do I begin ? Do i just start telling people put your phone away or arrive on time or dress appropriately ? or Do i wait for something to happen? How can I follow through better ? or hold people accountable better. I truly just want a change for the better. Please help.

I was thinking this. Quite a bit of time spent on this. I think it’d be more relevant in an interview situation. If you’ve been asked to prepare a lot of material for an important interview, it’s a total power move to say up front that you might consult your notes. But only if you then actually provide thorough and relevant answers.

@@filigold its a red flag when you provide important information and the person doesnt note it down in my opinion if you are working in a really complex field
