1974 Holden HQ LS Monaro

The Holden Monaro is a car that will always be a part of Australian Motor History. With hues from the American Muscle cars of the same generation, the Monaro was a proper muscle car that Australia could call their own. 1971 was the year the HQ series would be released, introducing the whole new body design from the previous Monaro. The LS or "Luxury Sports" was introduced as a new trim line for the Monaro series and shared trims with the Premier sedan.
This particular 1974 LS Monaro has undergone sympathetic restoration only where required, keeping to as much originality where possible. The car is a factory 235ci V8 LS Coupe originally built out of Sydney, with the original colour being Aquamarine. The registration indicates the car was white for some time before being painted to its current colour of black.
The car is incredibly well presented inside and out, and is an ideal hop in and enjoy Australian Muscle Car. The car sits on a full set of genuine 14" GTS wheels and the ACT number plates LS-074 are also included in the sale.
